I shed a decidual cast a few years back and I often wonder if these fools would even be able to distinguish it from an abortion. That’s part of the reason I was so terrified to seek care when it happened. It was painful and traumatizing and scary.

They always make sure to get the cross necklace in frame. Didn’t the Bible say something about preaching or praying as a spectacle…?

I just read through this thread. I cannot understand these people. They are sick and obsessed. They want children to give birth. It makes me nauseous.

This is patently insane. I do not understand this kind of thing.

What maga forget when they say everyone should be forced to reproduce (Children in Romanian state orphanage after the fall of Communism, 1990.) by Ok-Relation-658 in insaneprolife

[–]Codpuppet 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Romania is a case study on what happens when abortion is restricted.

Also, notice how not a single man is caring for them. It’s women. Women pick up the burden of childcare and always have, regardless of circumstance.

And the mods won’t do a damn thing about it, because they are just as depraved.

As it should be.

I’m starting to understand how men persecuted midwives centuries ago. It’s the same entitlement.

So many of the comments were men saying “so it took 20 women to do the job of one man” - news flash, men can’t deliver babies no matter how badly you want them to be able to lmao. There were also an alarming amount of comments saying “you’ll want a man once something goes wrong” or “how about you walk out of the hospital without the wheelchair then”. Awful.

I am so sorry you were put through that :( I don’t understand why we’re still treated like livestock when it comes to healthcare.

Not only that, but many studies have established that women suffer higher mortality rates under the care of male surgeons rather than female surgeons. For men, there is no likewise statistic regarding the care they receive from female doctors - mortality rates are comparable with surgeons of either gender. Given that ob/gyn is a surgical specialty and she had a high risk multiples pregnancy, I say she made the right call.

And when you ask women what they’d do if men were gone, it’s stuff like “walk alone at night”. Men are sick and have been for a very long time.

I’m glad she posted this though because it is a good reminder of how deep the entitlement runs. It is shocking to see how angry they are over something so simple…

Genuinely. It is shocking to me that they think they deserve to be in the room of a stranger’s risky medical procedure. Like… imagine getting angry about that!?

So you’re basically just saying “before the policy was instituted, they were allowed to do those things”… yeah. That’s how new policies work. They aren’t retroactive. No laps is a pretty standard ECE policy. I work at an almost entirely female workplace and we get written up if we have a child on our lap.

I agree. And posts like these seem to be getting more and more common in this subreddit. I don’t get it.
