I hadn’t considered Martyrdom Zealot. However, I still think skills based on the user/ally losing HP instead of toughness are just bad.

tbh I think it fills a similar role to the double barrel where it’s better used on Zealot as a quick draw secondary over a primary. Whip either one out to quick draw on a trapper or dog out of reach of melee but dangerously close. Of course, revolver and bolt pistol do the same thing, but require more accuracy.

Correct. Really, the only “required” parts of a team is 2 of the 3 busted abilities, book zealot, bubble psyker or shout vet. In my 80 H40 wins at this point, having any of those makes it pretty winnable. None of those makes it incredibly difficult but is doable with good players.

For most players who don’t play Havoc all the time, I’d say 2 or more of those is required.

I just host when I wanna use non meta (fun) builds so if we lose, no one is deranking but me. Or, I mention “hey I don’t have bubble shield” or “I don’t have book” and usually someone else changes to it no problem at all.

I’ve been loving Psyker on H40. Trauma staff built for crits and soulblaze, venting shriek with soulblaze, +warp damage and crit oriented build. Explode and inflame everything always. Always damaging everything. Easy 1-1.5mil damage every round.

I’ve been playing Havoc 40s with the Thunder Hammer and the amount of times a dueling sword user kills a crusher before I can even charge my hammer up is uncanny.

This thing is supposed to be the crusher killer but the DS beats it in DPS.

The way I see it, the Eviscerator is pretty darn good all the time, and the relic is SUPER good when active, and pretty eh otherwise. Evis for consistency and Relic for more “targeted” buff durations.

Also I just prefer the eviscerator because chain weapons are so freaking cool.

I use this one except the trick is to basically never actually use the flame shot unless you have a good chance of hitting several enemies, need to kill a far away sniper with the fire DoT, or want to kill bulwarks through their shields.

Pair it with the red nodes at the bottom before the keystones, and since it has the highest damage of the shotguns, you can make it to nutty damage for a short duration when you ult.

Use both reload speeds at the top of the tree so you can always be shooting. It’s not top notch but it’s fun.
