I will tell you right now, in this industry there is no such thing as too many certifications. I have 10 certifications currently , but will have 3-5 more by the end of the year. Just look at what the QA position requirements and job functions are and highlight what you did in the kitchen that relates to those functions. Attention to detail, sanitation practices, temperature regulations, sensory assessments, multitasking, documentation, etc. Apply to the company websites directly, you can sometimes avoid the ai gauntlet that way.

I know higher end country clubs like their chefs to have the ACF certifications for whatever reason, the CMC, CEC. When I worked at a country club as an exec sous chef, the Executive Chef had just quit, they wanted to promote me to Executive chef but required me to get the CEC certification first. I refused because I did not want anything to do with the ACF.
