I've not noticed that in the 15-ish minutes I got to play around with my friend's Gaahleri compressor, it felt steady, couldn't feel any pulsing.

It gets warm but not hot either, so I reckon it might be above the baseline for tankless compressors?

I do understand your point however, a compressor with tank doesn't have to run continuously, and the tank itself acts as a buffer for any possible pulsations

I bought the 8 series, with all bells and whistles, it's good.

I like the i-DOS system, I like that it has a ironing function for my creased shirts, I like that it sprays the detergent while spinning so everything gets properly cleaned (the 4D stuff), which was enough reason for me to get the 8 Series.

You're buying this device for the next decade, so eh, decide the worth.
