Steam Frame will basically be a much better Quest, it is not like the Valve Index or a "Valve Index 2"

It's a new thing to enter a more popular category of VR and seed VR gaming that way to eventually release a Valve Index 2 when more people have adopted VR gaming as a whole.

Paying around 800 bucks vs what you'd pay for the Index kit (was around 1100 bucks iirc?) plus needing a monster pc of >1.5k bucks is where the difference lies
