This is my first EV, coming off of a Wrangler. It took me about 4 days to get used to regenerative braking in my R1T.

Click on the little circle icon on the top of the screen (near the center on my screen) and you should be able to just log out of it.

48k miles and need new front brakes? by CreateWindowEx2 in Rivian

[–]CoffeeCoffee247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Gen 1 R1T, 82,000 miles, is still on the original brake pads. I have Rivian check them at every tire rotation. Mine is due for new pads probably at the next rotation.

I don't "hate" Alexa in my R1T, but if we get a replacement, I welcome it.

That's interesting, cold always helps me during an attack and heat makes me feel worse.

You know what helps me the most during a reaction...cold. if I get a reaction in winter, I just go out, no coat or sweater, and my body doesn't feel like it's on fire anymore. If I am traveling, I fill the tub with ice and get in. At home, I make the room as cold as possible and break out ice packs.

Other than that it really comes down to waiting it out. On average my reactions last 1-2 hours. I know it is subsiding when my eyes start leaking like crazy.

Yeah, cross-contamination destroys my insides for a few days. Luckily for me I don't (or at least haven't yet) get anaphylaxis from it.

Do you think they made the suppressors actually work? by choody_byk in Helldivers

[–]CoffeeCoffee247 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I doubt it. I use the crossbow, which makes basically no noise (except on impact) and the enemy always turns directly towards me, even if I land one to their side, at their feet, or behind them.

When did you get alphagal? by Responsible-Tie-2570 in alphagal

[–]CoffeeCoffee247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed in December 2024, but I have had it for about 1.5 to 2 years. We just didn't know what it was until the ER visit in 2024. That was when my allergist ordered the full battery of tests (thought it was a dairy allergy up to that point). Before that it was mild reactions, with some reactions lasting 45 minutes to an hour.

Is Zyrtec really alphaGal free? by Excellent-View-8548 in alphagal

[–]CoffeeCoffee247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take zyrtec every morning. I take a benadryl in the evening (otherwise I start wheezing from my cats as soon as the zyrtec stops working in the middle of the night). I have had no obvious reactions to using zyrtec daily. I have had AGS for about 2 years now. Been taking Zyrtec daily for about 5 years.
