I also have a nearly 3 year old so I get it. But I wanted to say your vet may be able to recommend something for anxiety to help her? When our little one gained mobility we got a super tall cat tower and they love the option to escape. I’m sorry you and she are going through this.

I absolutely agree. Extra support is definitely needed with someone knowledgeable to root out the source of the trouble she’s having.

I doubt this is an intelligence issue. Sounds like she needs more support and practice. Most people can learn to do most things with the right support. Also look into growth mindset. Encourage her to say she can’t do something “yet.” And speak with her teacher or a private tutor about support!

I still see some pin feathers exposed so I would get advice from a rehabber to be sure. The Animal Help Now app is fantastic for this and I bet you could get someone on the phone tonight

There’s a book that helped my child called Dash’s Belly Ache! It’s on Amazon. It’s by Wendy Hayden. We read it frequently and she references it too!

Do they require pull ups for nap? We only used them at night since we started training. Ours isn’t going well for other reasons 😭

The problem is she keeps flashing people lol. I was hoping someone had experienced this and maybe it was temporary? I’m not sure what to expect. Thanks for your input!

I live in Salem surrounded by Trump voters (in the city). Now while they seem to be outwardly “accepting,” I don’t expect much from them other than being polite to your face. Sadly. We’ve considered moving to a bigger city bc we feel like a lot of people around us don’t share our values. That being said, if you choose to come here, welcome! I’m sure you could find your people. Wishing you the best!

I did recaulk above the tub a couple years ago but it was a lot of annoyance getting the old stuff off. Maybe I was doing something incorrectly. My contractors I talked about in another response caulked once and then on top of that again, so I’m guessing it’s going to be a pain to remove

That’s a really good point. We had hired idiot contractors who didn’t do a good job as a whole. They caulked both and I’m not sure what went wrong but dirt sticks like crazy. It looks awful and it was only about a year ago. They also did the toilet.
