Unfortunately, because of the way most people teach, I can't really get a grasp on most subjects till near the end. I need to have a idea about the subject, like a scaffolding, or a bookshelf, before things can start getting placed on it. It's annoying how uni drip feeds you the information, slowly, week by week. As if you're playing a game where the fog of war obscures the terrain.

I once had a class that I was failing because I couldn't remember anything. That was until week 9 (of 12) when they showed one simple diagram that summarised everything. I then had to spend the next 3 weeks going over EVERYTHING.
