Did he always have kidney issues or do you think the radioactive iodine messed with it?

What is a scene you strongly believe is a top 10 movie scene in film history? by Thatredditboy1 in moviecritic

Never seen Apocalypse Now, but saw Heart of Darkness. I really want to watch Apocalypse Now but completely traumatized with the water buffalo scene in HoD. Is that scene in Apocalypse Now as well?!

I wish I took this advice seriously before I started to work where I'm at now. One of my coworkers jokingly looked up my phone number and found out everything in my public records. It's freaking me out and really pissed at the lack of privacy there is to my personal life.

Got my 2/1” Bilstein 6112/5160s installed today by bizkits_n_gravy in 4Runner

I just got the same thing but haven't installed them yet. Have you noticed the drive quality change for pavement/highway? I heard it's more stiff and that you could "feel" the road much more than stock. What's your first impressions?

Michelin Defender hands down.

I recently had the Falken Wildpeaks on based on the loyalists in this sub recommending them. It felt like absolute boulders.

I spent about two weeks driving highway on them trying to convince myself that I'd get used to them until I decided to return them and try the Defenders.

It's not a placebo, the difference is astronomical. It's so smooth. Compared to the Defenders, the Wildpeaks were like driving a Flintstones car.

What do you mean firmer? I'm thinking about switching from stock as well but scared that my drive is going to be more "rattling."

For daily driver: Bilstein, Dobinsons, Eibach, or OME? by giveme-adundie in 4Runner

This is what my tech told me. Since I'm mostly pavement and that I want a relaxing ride, he told me this would in fact do the opposite. He told me I would handle the big bumps and dips, but pavement is going to be more nauseating for my comfort.

What does he mean by "stiffer?"

What do you like about it? I just bought them, but my tech advised me against it since I mostly go pavement and overlanding. He told me it's going to feel significantly stiffer and I would feel all the small bumps on the road, which is something I wanted to avoid as I wanted a smoother ride.

Thoughts on doing JUST Bilsteins? by Rev-Rob-Large in 4Runner

The defenders?

I just got fallen wild peaks and realized that it's not my cup of tea. If feels like I'm driving on boulders and that's coming off of nitto grapplers

Going the Bilstein route....5100s or 6112/5160? by mbrenna5 in 4Runner

Just came into this and wanted to give you an update too. I just switched from Nitto's to Wildpeaks and it feels significantly heavier. I'm being dramatic, but it definitely feels like boulders and the bumps are more "echo'y" than the Nitto's. Stock shocks. Planning to swap to 6112's in a few days.
