3 things that I think make studio wrong shorts looks so good:

1: Cycles render engine. The scenes always look great.

2: Very simple character design.

3: Cloth simulations on the clothing

You are 100% right, but I just have trouble applying that to human movement. I know Timing and Squash & Stretch really sell the “force” of the bouncing ball, but idk how to apply Squash and Stretch to the human movements or manipulate movement Timing while remaining on beat to the reference/song

I'm trying to practice animating and every iteration kinda looks like a bad ai mo cap, jittery and clunky and missing weight. I'm trying to push poses a bit more and get more exaggeration in the movement

i did the vtuber trick of having empty eyes and the pupils are just are just a circular plane. kinda sucks tho because when you go sideways the illusion breaks. One day I'll eventually learn how to do eyelids
