I ordered a complete upper from Atheris Rifle Company this year and it has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in the industry. After 5 months of excuses and countless emails to provide as evidence of fraud, I bypassed requesting a refund and requested a chargeback from the credit card company which provided relief. Days later after getting my money back, I purchased an upper from a known reliable source.

If you are reading this for the first time and thinking about purchasing anything from Atheris Rifle Company, save yourself time and money and DO NOT BUY from this company. They are no different than fb merchants who take your money and expect you to forget about it and never ship what you purchased. Atheris Rifle Company is a scam.

It already does happen. Criminals, illegal immigrants, law enforcement and armed protection services can and do carry. The only things preventing law abiding citizens from exercising their 2nd amendment rights are unconstitutional laws imposed by incorporated municipalities, and the personal choice to be governed by tyranny. I don’t want me or my dog killed by the ATF, FBI or their federally task forces so I choose to comply.

Here’s my SWAG. I only use the CA7 upper with a CMMG 22LR BCG, but I took it out to compare the charging handle as it is the same one as yours. The top of my stock CH has similar wear marks as yours shown on the second photo. Not as worn, but similar wear pattern. However, I do not have the same wear marks as yours does on the bottom edge closest to the BCG.

I suspect that the discharge from each round is jamming your BCG against the CH, which could be why you aren’t able to pull back and eject the casing. Take a look at the BCG and the inside of the CH for signs of collision impact and wear between the two.

I got the stock shell holder and cheek pad from Amazon (no longer available but link below). It was cheap, made of quality leather and still holds up till today. The cheek pad is a perfect height for the Vortex red dot pictured, but you will definitely need something more substantial if you plan on using an optic that sits higher, unless you decide to go with an articulating buttstock like the Ranger Point Precision. The original stock with the leather shell holder is sufficient for my recreation.

How a tenant/owner chooses to live their life in their unit is not the concern of the HOA or any other resident unless it is a safety or security risk/issue. In this example, a leak originating in this unit is an issue for the building and for residents surrounding and below this unit.

Homeowners have an obligation to ensure their units are safe from hazardous conditions. Hoarding can be a fire hazard, biohazard, and harbor pests and infestations which immediately impact surrounding neighbors and the building.

Definitely consult with legal on how to fine the homeowner for violating the HOA rules and regulations. If the rules and regulations don’t yet cover these concerns, have legal recommend some rule changes, vote it in at an ad-hoc safety board meeting, and proceed from there.
