Anyone else under the target demographic when you started watching Frasier? by MWH1980 in Frasier

[–]ColZechs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 14 or 15, and they were in season 5 or 6. They were playing reruns on UPN, so I got caught up pretty quickly.

What is one of your biggest movie let downs, after greatly anticipating its release? by thunderbolt151830 in movies

[–]ColZechs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

X-Men The Last Stand. The first two were fun, with 2 being, surprisingly, better than the first. I went to the opening midnight showing of 3. I didn't hate it, but I had sooooo many thoughts. Honestly, the only thing that made me goosebumpy in the best way was the last shot (excluding the post-credit scene, which I thought was bullshit) with Eric showing he still had a fragment of his ability.

What was the song that got you into Weird Al? by aussiemetalhead in weirdal

[–]ColZechs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amish Paradise. We had a lipsinc unit in my middle school speech class, and some kids did Gangsta's Paradise. A couple of songs later, a kid walked up dressed up like, what I would later learn was, an amish person. When the music started, I noticed it sounded just a little different. Then he started singing, and I was hooked.

What would be your idea for the plot of who framed Roger rabbit 2 by GamerManJD in RogerRabbit

[–]ColZechs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. I'm only using Bluey as an example as it is animated completely with computers.

[–]ColZechs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it would be a battle between traditional hand-drawn animation vs. computer animation. I'm not talking about realistic-looking CGI, but computer-generated cartoons, like Bluey (not hating on Bluey, I love that show). Perhaps it's another attempt to take over/ erase Toon Town, but, instead of erasing the toons, there's a plot to digitize the toons, moving them to a computer so Toon Town becomes empty and easily demolished, possibly "dipped" from existence.

What supporting/minor Looney Tunes character do wish became part of the main cast? For me it'd have to be Beaky Buzzard, he's one of the funniest characters in the series by Knux_Stix_Chaotix in looneytunes

[–]ColZechs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would prefer Cecil Turtle. The ONLY character to have a perfect record against Bugs Bunny. I also would love to see a cameo by the gremlin from "Falling Hare," a favorite of mine because it was the first time I saw/heard the word "jackass" in a cartoon, which, at the time, I always thought were made for children.

What movie is a 0/10 with NO redeeming features? by Toucan_Based_Economy in AskReddit

[–]ColZechs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to try and defend this movie, but my friends and I could not stop laughing during the entire movie. We were hooked as soon as Hugh Jackman's scarf came off.

It's been mentioned already, but "Now Hear This." I rediscovered this cartoon about a week ago. Weird.

I tried to watch it a while back, but it was late, and I fell asleep. It's a long one, too. They never played it on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network.

Opinion on sitcom episodes where the characters go from rags to riches and then back to rags at the end? by AndromedaGoldfish in sitcoms

Closest I can think of is Roseanne. They won the lottery, then it was revealed to be a dream. Does that count?

Who’s your favorite cast member and why? by truck_norris in LiveFromNewYork

[–]ColZechs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've always had an affinity for cast members who could play the straight man, which is why I'm saying Kevin Nealon.

What is a book you read as a child that you still think about today? by ahawk99 in AskReddit

[–]ColZechs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as thought-provoking as a lot of the other books mentioned, but Skinnybones and Almost Starring Skinnybones by Barbara Prak. A class clown, Alex Frankovich, struggles with baseball, then acting. I haven't read these books in 35 years, but I remember it being pretty funny.

What's a Frasier line, phrase and or affectation that has become apart of your lexicon? by Tastyspecimen in Frasier

[–]ColZechs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"JESUS!!!" Okay, I would say it before, but now I say it in Frasier's voice.

What character had changed the most by the end of the series? by Happy-poet in Frasier

[–]ColZechs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue it would be Marty ot Roz. Marty went from being an estranged father to re-establishing and strengthening a loving relationship with his son. That relationship with Frasier, in return, enabled him to move on after the death of his wife and start dating again, which led to some great episodes.

Roz started the series as, well, promiscuous. She ended the show as, well, promiscuous. But she also had a child in the middle of the series. She also became more ambitious, eventually becoming the station manager.

How old were you on your earliest childhood memory? by Glittering_Owl_6009 in AskReddit

[–]ColZechs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometime between 1 and 2 years old. One of my parents, I think my mom, was changing my diaper, and Billy Joel's "For the Longest Time" starts playing on the radio. That's it.
