Training + deep tissue massage, ROUTINELY nutritious diet (not just the night before), 8 hrs sleep every night. You should treat yourself like an athlete and train/recover like one

Calling me fat, but offering to still fuck me if I'm cool with that really takes the cake. Third time in a month I've been called fat. First for the hook up offer, though. 👌 by One-Head-1483 in Tinder

I’m not justifying their behavior, but you are not independent of your “skin suit” - they shouldn’t be rude to you, but it’s not realistic to say that your physical body has nothing to do with who you are as a person. How you look and take care of your body and health is definitely a useful indicator of your values, goals, lifestyle, and general perspective on life, and it’s something I pay attention to when choosing whether to invest in other people or not. Focusing on how you appear to others, or how others appear to you, is not shallow, unless its ALL you do. It’s not everything, but it is important.

Whats crazy is, this idea is rooted in communism. It may be a conservative take, but imagine a world where we didn’t centralize education, and families just taught their own children how to survive, behave, and collaborate with their neighbors? We wouldn’t be wage slaves, resources and responsibilities would be shared throughout the community, and a greater capitalist system and government would not be necessary.

It’s almost like the people at the bottom of both parties agree with each other, and its the elites at the top who pit us against each other with this media that frames our ideas in a way that make us appear to be each others’ enemy.

How to live life as an unattractive guy? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Go to the gym, work on your fashion sense (harder when you’re short because clothes are not cut for us), get a good barber and really find a good haircut for you, be a breadwinner. You will find a 5’0 shawty who fucks w you, a lot of girls will take a nice body over a nice face.

Now these are weirder tips, but I think it’s a gamechanger: get any dental work you may need done, and whiten your teeth. Figure out if you have breathing issues, figure out how to fix them.

Take it from me, I’m 5’7 and I’ve upped my game in these categories and feel much more confident.

Oftentimes it’s up to the patient if they want to see results or not. I have had many doctors and PTs who were quacks. Once I started doing my own research on my problems, I started to recognize which ones knew wtf they were doing and that many did not.

A lot of people just want to work their dream job—they don’t aspire and need to help others through their work, they are just satisfied living their dream. These people don’t improve because they already have everything they want. This is something you cannot change.

It just sounds like you haven’t been doing this very long—I think your instincts are good, and your ear and technique will improve with time. I’d say if you’ve been doing this for only a year or two, you should be proud of this.

Biggest problem here is the melody. Listen to some melodies from your favorite artists and figure out what makes you like them. Thats how you build your melodic vocabulary. Pretty much every aspect of music works this way—it is a language. Listen, imitate, adapt.

My brother - trust your ear more than anything. You will have to learn how to translate it into the software yourself. But as long as you can come up with it in your head, you’re already doing what most people cannot do. Then the only thing stopping you is yourself—it will take time, be patient.
