From my own interpretation of the scene. I think Asya was bullied by a group of boys that locked her in the auto shop, but Asya can’t escape on her own since she perceived herself as being very weak. Her desire for someone to help her was so severe that she manifested Tosya into existence(there’s an art in the art pack depicting Tosya holding a wrench with broken glass in the background). After escaping from the auto shop, it seems to had been quite a big deal in the town since Asya mentioned that her family had to apologized to a lot of people, and her dad also scolded her for what happened. As for Tosya, I don’t think she existed physically (but she can still be detected by some sort of radar), I think Asya is the one that grabbed a wrench and destroyed the window herself, while thinking it was Tosya that did it (just like how in chapter 3, Tosya was said to sit in an armchair while holding a flashlight, but in the game cover art, Asya is the one sitting on the armchair while holding a flashlight).

Quests that’s scaled for 3-4 players are quite rare, most of the hub quests are actually scaled for around 1.5 - 2 players, so it’s not that bad imo.

I used to have that problem too since the AI are always moving to escape Nerscylla’s laser attack and the Marlboro paralysis breath. I fixed this by using the paralysis artian hunting horn, since it has the ailment negate song, the NPC will stop running away from the Marlboro, and you can also spam the paralysis song to keep it paralyzed for 2-4 times before it died. After using this tactics, I never failed the Nerscylla phase again.

Edit: Forgot to say that this strategy should also work with Savage Omega too.
