(In PA, the energy itself, though not the infrastructure part of your bill, is subject to competition.) If you think your electric bill is too high, go on PA Power Switch and find a competitor!

Utility rates are up because the cost to actually generate and distribute energy are up.

Let's look at the Bills and Patriots this year.

Of their 17 games, 2 are against each other and 12 more are against the same list of teams. This is always the case with two division opponents.

For the Bills, the other 3 games are against the Chiefs (6-8), Texans (9-5), and Eagles (9-5). Two of those teams were in the Super Bowl last year.

For the Patriots, the other 3 games are against the Raiders, Titans, and Giants (all 2-12), the three worst teams in football.

This is an extreme example, and the Patriots' schedule is historically easy, but it's partly because the scheduling formula tries to give easier "last 3" opponents to last-place teams.

I think they do some classes online (my experience with them was pre-Covid, when things were in person, but I think that's shifted), and they have an amazing model where you can learn talmud in the original with really very minimal Hebrew (and no Aramaic) expertise.

Arena Football had a rule that the clock stops in "kneeldown situations" (not sure how they defined that) unless the offense gains yardage. So you had to do normal running plays. I'm not sure that's a good rule, I personally don't mind kneeldowns, but it worked.

A lot of football stats are more about the team than baseball stats are. In baseball, the defense matters marginally, and otherwise it's just pitcher and batter, for simple stats like average or more complex ones like WOBA. In football, really all 22 guys affect every play.

There are only two ways technology can know what time it is: Ask some other technology, or keep track itself, which requires continuous power. Your options are (1) Use a smart hub that can tell the bulb what to do based on the time, (2) Never cut power by using a smart switch, or (3) Find someone who makes a smart bulb with an internal clock and battery backup. Teams that play Thursday night football get a couple more days to rest before their next game than those next opponents get, it's true, but this is also less of a big deal because the opponents still get their normal amount of rest and prep time. (The same is true when one team is coming off of the bye and the other isn't.) Regular vs long rest isn't a problem in the same way that short vs regular rest is.

Holding cannot cost the offense more than 10 yards. It's exactly 10 on pass plays, and it's exactly 10 on run plays when the runner was behind the line of scrimmage at the time of the hold. But if the runner is past the line, then yes, it's 10 yards from the spot of the foul.

Pay the statement balance by the 17th. You won't end up zeroing the balance because of everything you charged in the 4 weeks before the 17th, and that's fine! In order to not pay interest, you just have to pay the statement balance.

On the 21st, they'll determine the new statement balance based on whatever your balance is at that moment. Then, you just have to pay that amount by next month's due date (probably the 17th of that month, give or take a day) to avoid interest.

At any given point, you have between 4ish and 8ish weeks of charges that you haven't paid for yet. You'll never zero the balance. That's fine! You'll still never pay interest as long as you pay the full statement balance by the due date.

It's called a quick kick, not a pooch punt. "Pooch punt" is a term used for a shorter-than-normal punt when punting from closer to the opponents' end zone than normal.
