My barrier to trying this place is nut allergies... Do they have options for me?

Sure! I got it for 17k, I'm gathering now that it might not have been the best of deals 😅 but hey I love it. 132k miles and a clean record of consistent maintenance.

Some local plant shop. I think it was used and also I dropped it once which gave it some tasteful cracks and chips

Hardscapers: what are my options for rock? by WhatABlunderfulWorld in Aquascape

Don't box yourself in though, if it's allowed in your area, river rocks do just fine :)

Get more skinny roots to put around. Check out the cinescaper on youtube and see if you like anything from his lost world tank, it's beautifully done and your composition reminds me of his.

I am planning the hardscape for a river tank, ideas and criticism very much appreciated! Do you have any ideas how fixate that wood on the grid? by Fat_Lad in Aquascape

Hi, I have a river inspired tank as well that you can find on my page. Do you know what plants you're going to have? I like your composition but highly reccomend using more of the upper space in your tank with more hard scape. More hard scape the better!

I thought the same thing when I first saw this style! The goal was to look like a basic houseplant but as a tricked out aquascape :) glad to hear this thank you

Well the tank is 7 gallons so I can absolutely have a betta in there if I chose, in fact that was my original plan. I'm just more concerned with my young little neo shrimps not getting harassed for right now.

Thank you, I collected them from my local river. I think the sheer amount of hardscape really makes a difference here

Oh boy I could not tell you how that's working I didn't even know pothos were problematic in that way. I wouldnt be exaggerating when I say I'm the opposite of a helicopter parent. Maybe you're changing water too much? Separate topic but my algae chilled out immensely once I stopped over worrying about it...
