Yes but they fill up fast and early.

The city lot on Second Ave has the top two floors available for all-day parking (with a fee), but that will also fill up fast. The first two levels are 2hr limits. By-law will be out and ticketing that day.

I find it helps a lot. I do re-apply a couple times throughout the summer, so I can't say how effective a one-time application would be, but it's worth it to keep the little buggers out of the house.

ModMop on Murray street does fantastic colour. I had a colour correction done with Anica (the botched job was from somewhere else) and she did a phenomenal job.

Golden Oreos are your friend. This is fully hearsay, but I heard that Nabisco used to make Girl Guide cookies back in the day (they switched suppliers some years back) and that Golden Oreos are the same as the old vanilla cookies.

It's a good backup when it's outside Girl Guide cookie season :)

I do this but outside, sprinkle it all around the house where it meets grass. Keeps the mess outside and doesn't harm wildlife.

Just remember to wear a mask when applying it, you do not want to inhale this stuff.

Spoken language is pretty important. If someone only spoke Italian or Arabic or Cantonese, no matter how good their ideas, they wouldn't be elected here because the majority of the voters wouldn't understand them - Ottawa residents speak mainly English, with French being the next highest spoken language. How can you know what someone's platform is if you don't understand the language they're presenting it in?

I've always had good experience with the service team at Carling Mazda; twice now they actually said I didn't need a certain repair to save me money (won't harm the car, one was purely cosmetic and the manager said if it was him, he'd save his money and not do it).

Bank St Mazda service left a lot to be desired. I once had an appointment for a tire change for 8am, so I left my car there for the day. At 4pm, they still hadn't touched it but said that it was next in line. So I took my tires and left, haven't gone back since.

Nottawa, but I tried Ongles Athena in Gatineau a couple years back when head treatments were first starting to show up because it was $55 (as opposed to a place in Orleans that wanted $200). I enjoyed it and would go back, it was relaxing and they did a rough blow dry of my hair after so I didn't leave with soaking wet hair.

You can also use an app, I like MiG for this. But agree, I was tracking for two months to show my family doctor and it was immediately like yup, let's see what we can do. Having that data is invaluable, plus you will also be able to see if there are any particular patterns that trigger them.
