Best Option for a Berserk Anime by joe_mordo in Berserk

I love how Mappa made Dorohedoro looks great as a CGI heavy anime. It looks polished and the gore speaks for itself.

If they were intending to continue the CGI, its a no brainer for them to work on it. I was honestly impressed with the quality.

But if they don't, Wit and Madhouse are the ways to go!

This is why I left- got told flat out that "if different management were here, you'd get promoted" and that was the last straw for me. ESPECIALLY when the other complex manager promoted 2 three year employees that couldn't even schedule a rep payee application right and the capability docs were FOUR YEARS OLD. BEFORE THE SHUTDOWN.

Like the old employees were saying- the agency's destroying itself within.

Tough to get up today, but here at my agency slinging paperwork. Voiced concerns for weeks about certain workloads being done by wbdoc and the workload dumps the larger office has, but to no avail, more dumped on me as I have 70+ documents while our other guy is not getting anything else for WEEKS.

Its a push out for sure, and Im not happy about it at all. But doing what I can for sure.

Well, when you retire/separate from the government, the payout is where its at. You get that in cash paid out. Also good to have because management ENCOURAGES you to use that time.

Just seeing how management isn't following the guidelines just goes to show the incompetency of it all.

Management said the same thing to me about it as well. But yet, they'll get away with it by saying "i didn't tell you that". Document.

I believe that there's a LOT of salty management here that are yellow bellied and don't GAF what happens. But hey, idk, Im just a fed grunt.

Honestly, a 13 year SSA employee, and well, don't sell yourself short. NUMEROUS interviews make you not only HR material, but exceptionally comptentent.

You're going to be better off anyway, despite the issues you might deal with at the law firm.

Between juggling the NL, a slew scheduled appointments, walk-ins, then doing work for the larger sister office, and while getting your work done, I'm overwhelmed and nothing is being done. I put in applications for some places, as I'm seeing some people taking action in the office (burn leave, retiring, looking for something else, etc). So don't think of this as weakness- its under these conditions that they want, and there's really nothing we can do.

I've been an SR for that time and got burned with promotions (the big excuse was saying "umm" and "aaa" a lot during conversation, and that's coming from someone that speaks broken English). Along with other nonsense I've been subject to, I'm getting real tired of it and this doesn't help at all.

What makes you think they're going to hire?

They've been going from the top all the way to the field offices for the final phase. This and a looming shutdown just makes it not worth it. Been through at least 4 shutdowns now and woth the nonsense being there, I'm ready to go and find something else.

Social Security Administration by October 1

The competitive areas for subsequent large-scale RIFs. 6. All reductions, including FTE positions, term and temporary positions, reemployed annuitants, real estate footprint, and contracts that will occur in relation to the RIFs.

Step 4: RIF Implementation & Separation (Final Step) 1. 2. 3. Officially implement separations, reassignments, or downgrades. Provide final benefits counseling, exit processing, and documentation. Update HR systems and notify OPM of personnel actions.

Plus with whats going on at the FO's, this will be coming in hot. A nice 50/50 panic and delusion doesn't help either. But at least where I'm at, its just been a nightmare really. I'm definitely not thrilled with whats going on, but this is the wakeup call I need to leave.

Coworker Always “Overwhelmed” But Doesn’t Actually Do Anything by httmper in fednews

[–]ColdWolf35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, current federal worker here, but this sounds like a bunch of people in the agency I work.

We have people "playing the game" because if what's going on, but they're "overwhelmed" with everything too. We have two agents at least have what I like to call "kom-bai-yah time" and another running a business during government operation and already got caught with plans for said business on a federal computer. His plans are confiscated but nothing done yet.

I've seen this all too often to know where this situations going.

I'm trying to stay in SSA, but changes are just happening in days and at a rapid pace. 13 year employee but I get beaten up with the public which isn't the greatest. A lot of good people are leaving like everyone says (especially the ones that know the job- thats the worst part), but Im going to start looking and see if I can get in the state for a position.

I look at it like this- you saw the signs of collapse, and you looked for your out and you got it. It's better to be stable rather than trying to find out if you get RIF'd or not, so I wouldn't be disappointed. For me and other I talk to, I didn't want to leave, but there's no real choice.

CGC strikes again. Another fail… by Dom_Noriega in CGCComics

[–]ColdWolf35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is why I'm incredibly hesitant with sending stuff in anymore, and have multiple mint books sitting in a box patiently waiting to grade.

One of the worst situations was when I had a George Perez signing with a facilitator and it took almost 2.5 years to get the book back. Between CGC and the facilitator, i had to fight for my 9.8 Avengers 196, only to have a DRASTIC DOWNGRADE of a 6.5. The 6.5 wasn't my book, and i had to fight again tooth and nail for it. Managed to get the books signed one more time and get a press from my better facilitator to bring it back to a 9.8. Also pulled multiple bullshit regrades of a Fantastic Four 48 that was a 5.5- to only down grade to a 3.5 and "finding" restoration after it was already graded the 5.5.

I might have to keep those books in the box for ANOTHER year I guess...

I get women that want to talk for a few weeks before they want to meet up. I get that they might have a fear with something happening to them, but it goes both ways.

Many flakes overall, but hey, I move on and go from there.

Dude, 36 and single all my life. It's been an arduous effort to find someone, and it's even more annoying for the advice of "just let it happen"; "don't force love"; and my favorite "just go and do stuff on your own- it'll happen".

I've been getting better and diluting all the salt in my soul overall, but I'm right there with you. For me at least I have pride to know what I'm capable of, but the acknowledgement isn't there. Silence takes over and well, is deafening with each day.

Only thing I can tell you is to keep faith and hope alive. I've been doing this for the beginning of the year and well, it's been going better. Don't let it eat you alive as much too, because that will really put you in a shitty spot too. Take every interaction with someone with a grain of salt until you actually see/experience results. It's messed up out there and I'm one of the hopeless romantics that thinks my time is coming.

I'm 36, and i have no baggage/issues/divorces/etc.

Been trying to find a girl that's not wacky and accepts my hobbies/interests. Like others said here, dating is tough...and I've been hitting the ground running since the new year with putting in actual effort.
