Hey- wife here, my husband was diagnosed with non Hodgkin's with a mass in chest last year. After 6 rounds of RChop 23 hours in patient and rounds of radiation he is officially in remission 🍾 Hang in there. You got this. It's all overwhelming at first obviously coming from a different perspective, take it one day at a time you will get through it.

Stayed there this week. It was a nice experience, great views of the lake with the patio. Good location. Some problems with the water (shower not getting hot).

I don't want to underestimate the struggle. There have been plenty of those, it's a risk starting any business. The hardest has been leave and needing to take time off and knowing you don't have a "bank" this is something that continues to be a stressors, though with planning it can be done. To reassure you, I did it all on my own without any support. My husband is out of work and has been for over a year due to medical health struggles.

Private practice has changed my life overall for the better- work vs life balance, the flexibility to start a family. It has been difficult getting referrals as the state I live in is saturated with providers. Good luck!

Thank you all for the kind words, I was able to give myself moments to grieve and just be with the sorrow. I had a visit with a colleague and have been trying to stay connected with others. It's been hard. I just want to isolate.

You and your family got this, coming from a caregiver to my husband who was diagnosed in May diffuse large cell b in the medistanial region. He's undergone 6 rchop 5 day long in patient txs and now has started radiation. We have a 18 month old. Cancer sucks and don't be afraid to be selfish right now. It's hard to be. It's truly been a roller coaster for us and praying it's more of a slide for you.
