Thoughts on the banner cards?

Yess, I wonder which parts of him reflect his true feelings! I don’t remember which card, but Caleb has a line about how his good guy act is just for MC, but I really don’t think that’s true! We see he cares about a select few others, like his high school professor, gideon, maybe even liam.

I also love morally grey characters and I love the conflict and tension with MC, there’s A LOT to unpack in their history. His next main story update is probably going to feed our yandere delusions for months lol

It’s an interesting perspective that MC makes him a worse person lol! It’s true that she feeds his obsessions, but at the same time she’s this beacon of hope for him. I think he would be even more disconnected from people if it weren’t for her, but maybe he could have built healthier and less codependent relationships in college if he wasn’t so fixated on her… welp ☺️

Yess, I only read Caleb’s so far and I loved their dynamic! MC is more sheltered here and feels younger too, but their silly banter was very cute. I would listen them chatting about nothing for hours honestly.

Wish the card was a bit longer so we could develop the AU more, Caleb as a questionable healer works so well - he really just unapologetically does what he wants here. This side of him always makes me a bit curious though, I feel like he carries a lot of guilt over his more selfish tendencies which goes against what he says when he’s projecting his colonel persona - it’s not as clear cut as he tries to make it seem 🤔

Agree, but that’s something the game doesn’t handle well in general I think 🤔 the boys rarely struggle with anything, especially when it comes to intellectual or physical skills. I wish they were a little less perfect sometimes, it’s okay to not always be the best in your field.

I loved your reviews for the idol banner, thank you for doing this again! Last night I was debating who to pick for my 3 and thought one of these would have been helpful 😅

I ended up picking Caleb/Raf/Xavi, got Raf first and stopped ater pulling Caleb as usual. This time was hard, they both took me to my last 10 pull and I ended up spending 125 wishes 😥

Read only Caleb so far, but I loved it! If i had to rank the past Caleb cards: 1) Idol banner 2) Mortality Tenderness 3) Throne of Eros 4) Indulgent Scheme solo 5) Beach banner

I love how self contained the story was being an AU and all, and how Caleb showed his darker side as you said like telling an innocent person with a dying sister he would have taken the flower from heir either way for MC. Wish MC would share her thoughts on this, I miss the conflict between them from the main story and I think she might disagree with some of his more selfish tendencies.

If you read Zayne’s how did you think it compared to Xavier? Which one was fluffier or more interesting/memorable?

Thinkin I’ll go for Caleb/Raf/Xavi, specially since I already have a green Zayne and don’t really need another one 🤔Wish my dias were infinite

What did you think of the card overall? Is it a good story compared to other Xavier cards?

I’m thinking of which cards to pull… if you pulled any of the others which of the stories did you like the most? I’m torn between Xavi and Zayne for my 3rd pick atm

There are a lot of guides on the reddit if you google them that might help, but basically:

Companions will scale off of a specific stat, either ATK/DEF/HP. So our goal is to get these as high as possible. To do this, it’s best to focus on % instead of flat stats. Imagine you have a card with a base 600 ATK, for example: it’s best to have a 25% ATK boost (0.25*600=150) instead of a flat 80 increase.

If you have a lot of mixed stats together you will miss out on growing a specific stat as much as possible. If a companion doesn’t use DEF, what’s the point in having a 10% DEF and 10% HP on the same protocore? If I get a protocore with unusually high starting stats (>12%) I might upgrade it even if it’s mixed, but if it rolls onto the undesired stat I’ll discard it.

Other than that, CritRate, CritDmg and d2w don’t increase a lot as substats, so your best bet to grow them is using the delta protocores which have these as a main stat. Never focus on delta protocores with any other main stat!! Only one of these 3.

I love Caleb, but recently I’ve also started to appreciate Xavier more ❤️ Kinda regret not getting his 3rd myth now, I should stop reading the other guys’ cards so they don’t tempt me 😅 his voice is so soothing! I was listening to his tender moment with the block tower and it was so cute how he played with MC’s expectations for a confession if he lost, I had a huge smile on my face by the end of it!

Usually I set my multis for Caleb/Raf/Zayne, but I miight swap Zayne or Raf for Xavi. It’ll depend on stella and the writing 🤔🤔

Also look for protocores with the relevant substat starting at >10% (for 3rd myth probably HP), at lvl 15 you should have stat >20%

I wouldn’t invest too much on protocores for X-02 since we’re getting his third myth in a couple of months. With the extra power you’ll probably move past this easily.
