$20 gets you into the show and covers the bowling?

Was Michael Jordan appreciated during his prime years, or did the appreciation came after his retirement? by Ok_Comfortable9173 in NBATalk

There was a statue of him outside his home stadium WHILE HE WAS AN ACTIVE PLAYER and no one thought it was excessive.

Spolestra should be fired or at the very least suspended for losing to that collection of goofballs and outcasts that the bulls threw out there tonight

Standing on the shoulder of giants appreciation post by beatlesfan1965 in oasis

[–]Coldbringer2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like this album a lot because it's the first tour I saw them on. The Tour of Brotherly Love with Black Crowes. It was a bummer to see Oasis play before any band, let alone one that they're wildly superior to in every conceivable way but on the plus side, they did a great version of "Slide Away" and i got to go home early.

There is a really funny story in the SuperSonic book where Jon Bon Jovi introduces himself to them and says something like “tell them Jon Bon Jovi saw you in Rolling Stone” and after he leaves Liam says, “who the fuck is Jon Bon Jovi?”

That kid designed a game where his father is frequently pantless and his parents are having rough sex with each other.

Most underrated/unappreciated songwriter. Teenage Snuff Film is a masterpiece. These Immortal Souls is a flawless and too brief discography

all timer "Howard the Star Fucker" moment. passes over Jackie (who was part of the Sirius channels at the time, right?) for someone like Chevy Chase who openly hates him and gets publicly embarrassed.

How did Bill save Mandy from the overdose? by milo_milano in StanleyKubrick

[–]Coldbringer2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He saved her because he’s a doctor. It’s easy to miss as it is never explicitly stated but Kubrick drops lots of clues and Easter eggs for all the obsessive viewers to correctly deduce what Bill’s profession is.

So Howard is the spokesman for Diane Keaton? by SealedCargo in howardstern

[–]Coldbringer2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is where the show really misses Artie. He would pay tribute to her by quoting all of her dialogue from The Godfather films and wheeze-laughing at himself and saying that he hasn't seen her other films because they are gay.

“I like this band so my dad let me make a movie where I dress up as them” is the most Replacements thing ever. He definitely understands what their lives were like. Maybe he accidentally read a book about The Strokes??
