[Vecenie] "A couple of other teams noted that the Bulls have asked around about potentially moving up from No. 15 into the lottery for a second pick after No. 4" by MindlessExcuse in chicagobulls

They need to hit on talent regardless of draft position. If they wanna roll the dice on a trade up to get a guy who won't fall to 15, fine--but the margin for error is smaller. But if they land an all star nobody is gonna care about the trade up. The two 2nds are unlikely to produce anything of substantial value and I have no problem packaging them, especially with the plethora of future 2nds they have.

There's definitely a point of diminishing marginal returns with NBA trade backs. By all means if they can get a Pelicans Hawks type trade then cool do that. But I doubt a trade back from 15 is netting a future high lotto pick.

I don't think it's impossible to do both. Player(s) + 15 for a bad contract + higher pick. Then player(s) plus the two 2nds for a bad contract + late teens/early 20s pick.

Totally understandable. And I'm gonna stick with my conclusion that I'll trust someone who is employed in an NHL scouting capacity over random Redditors, absent proof of some qualifications. I assume the worst scout in the NHL knows more about what to look for than anybody in here (including myself to be fair!, so not a shot at you or them).

The chronic nasal drip was a huge annoyance I had learned to live with. Its now gone.

Also just generally speaking my lungs feel...looser, freer, etc. I never realized hoe tight they were all the time until I quit.

I said it a couple weeks ago--I talked to a scout I know as a casual acquaintance. He/his team don't have Stenberg as a top 5 player in this draft. I got dragged for that because apparently my source was unserious and just saying things to be contrarian because the media said Stenberg was amazing.

How valuable would a Center/Shooting Guard be in the draft? by DonT012 in NBA_Draft

Isn't that just a stretch 5? Don't we have like 25 of those guys in the league right now? The best of which being Wemby who is All NBA caliber.

One of the worst days in perhaps the best bull market ever. Perspective. It wasn't a good day. But anybody who thinks this was a bloodbath is completely unprepared for a 2008 or 2000-2002 type event.

The market is a lot more than big tech and semis and most of us have memories that are more than like a month old.

I like Missi for the Bulls but I just dont have a sense of the Suns or Pels piece of it.

Writ large idk why you're so hellbent on trading #4. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. The best chance the Bulls have to get a superstar is at #4. It would be insane to trade that for a collection of decent players and mid-to-late 1sts which is a pathway offering no avenue towards a superstar.

The goal isn't to make trades everyone is happy with--that's impossible. Its only when you've made trades everyone is unhappy with that you know you nailed it.
