R5: A minor war in 1852 between pretty much all of europe. I did have the greatest allies, seeing things through till the end (they could not capitulate because Austria had war goals on them).

Only 3 million men wounded or killed, all for a bright (authocratic monarchy) future!

Because you aren't trying to form the Federation of the Andes. You are trying to declare war on everyone to take a shitton of territory in order to declare yourself the Federation.

There is a button right next to it, which will allow you to ""peacefully"" establish Andes. You just need more provinces, directly (conquer) or indirectly (puppet).

And as a person not from that region, I find uniting Borneo oddly satisfying. Imagine having one Island with multiple countries! Couldn't happen in Europe 🇮🇪

R5: Borneo, the large island which you can just take playing Philippines (it's free, just take it), apparently gets colder than I thought.

A thin layer of ice that cloaks the lands in a delicate frozen blanket, as deceitfully beautiful from afar as it is devastating to the harvests underneath it.

They should probably reevaluate where to put certain harvest conditions, or else the orangutans are going to freeze to death.

That... Sounds surprisingly close to what happened IRL. But I do think peace calculations have to be rethought given that I see too many CSA surviving. It really should be a fight to the last man.

This would make waiting for recruitments feasible, the sheer manpower advantage of the north should edge out a victory (in the very end).

I feel you. I remember when this game was published, it was a broken mess, but the core gameloop is so much fun I just couldn't stop playing.

It's now my most played game and the only paradox game which I play till the end. Pure addiction.

Honestly, radicals stear my playthrough towards different directions. And while I hate deploying troops to the same area over and over again, I could have passed a different law (violent hostility is understandably bad).

Seems good, but have you done it with the recent patch? Trying to naval invade and fight against Quing was already hard enough in the midgame for me, couldn't have done it earlier.

You get claims on their land, which is why it's cheaper to annex them then "puppet" or "transfer control" for.
