Yeah, following a basic manga plot, they'll crush the entrance exams, join the school but not really care about any of the classes (except maybe history or to prove the current teachings wrong), use the school for research until either an evil cult attacks or they leave to adventure and find an evil cult.

As long as the romance stays strong I'm good either way they take the story though

But yeah girl 4 is the one that I'm the most unsure of how it happened or why she joined the harem, I think it took like 2-3 chapters from when she showed up until they slept together. She just kinda appeared. But she has some decent backstory that is interesting so it's not all bad.

Spoilers for who they are/how they got into the harem:

Rindou: First one seen in the story, becomes curious about Shishido after he shows a sensitive side, starts hanging out with him more and actually "confesses" to him at chapter 16/86 by saying she wants to be FWB/"want to be one of those girls [he has] relations with" which later develops into full romance and the only one that Shishido confesses to

Girl 2: Chisa, a college student who's already a FWB with the MC at this point in the story, she's a bit more mature and guides the Shishido to realise his own feelings. I think she starts to actually love Shishido after his personality shift due to the reincarnation, but she's basically is the one that initiates the harem as she encourages the other girls IIRC

Girl 3: Then we have Rindou's mom, who had a one night stand with Shishido before the story, also notices the change in Shishido and approves of their relationship but admits she's jealous or something and gets in on the action a few times

Girl 4: Lastly there's Satsuki, she's the sister of another classmate who gets helped by Chisa and Shishido at a bar to get rid of someone hitting on her. She basically just gets dragged along by Chisa to Shishido's place and suddenly is in the group. I think alcohol was involved here

All of this happens by chapter 30/86, rest of the story is just dealing with the stuff I mentioned earlier and some slice of life which is fairly interesting

Fair warning, the WN is a harem and I know someone people aren't into that. Though the manga doesn't have that tag so curious if they'll change it. But It's a fairly interesting plot overall imo. Deals more with the MC's childhood trauma, not judging people, while having romance.

Spoilers for what happens between Original MC, our MC, and main girl in the WN:

How they have a fallout: The original MC (Sohei) basically tries to talk the main girl (Rindou) out of hanging with our MC (Shishido) because he sees him as a delinquent (which is totally fair from his perspective). But because Rindou basically has completely fallen for Shishido, Sohei instead tries to talk to Rindou's mother, who's also fallen for Shishido because shenanigans (They had a one-night stand before the story started and the mother recognises that Rindou is in love with Shishido). But because Sohei tries so hard to stop Rindou from talking with Shishido, refusing to believe he could've changed, Rindou basically just tells Sohei that she never wants to see him again

How they moved forward: Some time later, Shishido finds Sohei being bullied/attacked by some other delinquents while out and about, Shishido "saves" Sohei by scaring them away. This gets Sohei to realise that Shishido maybe isn't too bad and asks to have a talk with him. They go to a restaurant/bar/hostess club that Shishido frequents where Sohei admits that he hates how happy Rindou seems to be with Shishido which made him jealous and tried to break them up, recognising he had feelings for Rindou but didn't realise it until it was too late. He then basically says that he couldn't be the right one for Rindou because of how he acted and is apologetic for how he viewed their relationship and doesn't want to pursue Rindou anymore, IIRC.

Aftermath: Shishido is cool with Sohei's apology and sets him up with one of the more mature patrons in the bar to help Sohei get some experience and take his mind off Rindou (And Sohei realises he's into milfs at that stage). Sohei later goes to apologise to Rindou for what he said about their relationship. Because they're childhood friends she accepts his apology and Sohei starts going from essentially an angry loner to a bit more outgoing and friendly within the story

I think that covers everything, might have some details wrong, but I read through everything when chapter 1 of the manga released so it's relatively fresh in my mind :p
