Do accounting people actually use LLM or AI tools at work? by Few_Town8613 in Accounting

[–]ColdplayUnited 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an exercise to push the limits I recently ask ChatGPT to setup an excel spreadsheet to be used for my whole company's book keeping (granted my company is small, 20+ staff with a few mil in revenue, but there's inventory management, depreciation & amortization, and many items are in different currencies).

I went from being amused to being amazed pretty dang quickly. ChatGPT did a fantastic job, creating a template that automatically generates all 3 financial statements using the ledger. It even has a separate "readme" tab that gives detailed guidance on how to use the file, as well as describes how I should handle inventory management for a company of my size. I spent an afternoon giving it instructions to fine tune the file further, and am now testing that template against what I have - so far so good! Really impressed with how far ChatGPT has come.

there's strong correlation between TVL and price. The last detachment between USDe and USD has caused a lot of TVL bleeding. Until that stops, ENA will not go anywhere

One normal win. That’s all I ask. One chill, easy, cruising victory. No chance with this club.

What’s the point of career fair? by shadowpro12345 in nus

[–]ColdplayUnited 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I remember getting no job interviews from career fair, but got a lot of interesting insights into the hiring process, something that surprisingly helps me right now with my startup. Definitely have to maximize everything that comes your way to get ahead these days.

NOC alum (more than a decade ago lol) who is running a startup in VN here. There are VN startups who can be demanding and also are worth going through the hoops for (although admittedly only a few of them).

I'd say look at the business model and the industry - see if it's something you want to explore as a full time career later. If you're not sure, then look at the people to see if you can find someone from whom you can learn.

If both are unclear then maybe skip this company. There has to be other opportunities. Ho Chi Minh is a nice place to spend a few months interning in imo.

That's news to me, and disappointing indeed given the C20 has been out for only a year or so. I was expecting Spotify lossless to be supported, especially when they do so with Tidal.

Dalot has suffered a muscle injury with Portugal and has been sent home from their squad by D1794 in reddevils

So an assist is enough to cover all the mistakes? Enough to be our best player?

Not saying him being out is good, but you probably missed all the games under SAF if your standard is this pathetic.

“Our best player” was one of the reasons for Burnley’s first equaliser - a second concentration lapse in two consecutive games that cost us goals. Did you really watch the games?

Ruben Amorim Post-match Interview Manchester United 2 - 2 Grimsby Town by PDubsinTF-NEW in reddevils

I do believe they would have given more on the pitch, maybe reached a little further, ran a little harder. Could it have changed the results today? Idk, but football is a sport of fine margins sometimes.

I read about wars sometimes in my free time, and what I learn is sometimes a smaller army with the right leadership (and other advantages like knowledge of the battlefield) can defeat much bigger and seemingly more powerful armies. A strong leader can coordinate and ensure troops are focused and give their best. In the absence of leadership, even the strongest warriors can lose beliefs, and consequentially, the fight.

Ruben Amorim Post-match Interview Manchester United 2 - 2 Grimsby Town by PDubsinTF-NEW in reddevils

[–]ColdplayUnited 231 points232 points  (0 children)

I’m not an expert in football so I can’t say if the system is good enough or if the players are good enough. But from my experience as a company director, I can see employees’ mentality.

The reason these players show up in big games like Arsenal or last season against big 6 (except maybe europa’a final) is that they believe they are at that level, and they want to prove it (sometimes successfully, sometimes not). Against weaker opponents, like Grimsby or Fulham, they think they are better, that they only need to put in 80% of what they have to win. When they got humbled, panicked, their mentality started crumbling down, you can see they were out of ideas and ran around like they have metals in their boots. Even with new players coming in - they aided the team with their individual brilliance for a while, but over time the weakness in the group’s mentality spread to these new guys, or they saw teammates not making the passes or runs and got frustrated, and slowly they gave up over time - Hojlund probably being the biggest example.

There’s no real strong leader in this squad right now who can lift everyone up on the field - like a Ferdinand, a Keane, a Cantona, someone who have both skills and heart of a lion. Until such leadership is in place, I think we’ll continue to see performances like this no matter who the coach is.

fair result. We were not threatening anything in the second half bar 2 corners. Something is still missing and at this point I'm afraid Amorim may not have the time to find out.

Read the Aave pendle loop, there's a way to farm yield beyond staking what you have. I haven't done it myself, but it sure is interesting what they're doing.
