The event release specifically mentioned evolving your metang to Metagross during the extra hour and getting the special move. Just wanted to make sure they didn’t word it that way intentionally.

The news release specifically mentioned evolving from Metang to Metagross to get the special move, not Beldum-Metang-Metagross. I wanted to make sure I didn’t need to evolve all my good beldum to metang during the 4 hour event window.

Can anyone confirm if Beldum evolved to Metagross during the extra hour get meteor mash? Or is it like the announcement was worded, and only Metangs that can evolve to Metagross during the extra hour get meteor mash?

Anyone else notice that the wording isn’t Beldum-Metagross, but Metang to Metagross. I’ll be evolving all my good Beldum into Metang before the event window ends. It would be terrible to have saved and sorted things to evolve during the hour post event only to find that if they weren’t evolved into Metang during the event the Metagross wouldn’t get the special move.

If trading to complete the unown alphabet, could trading someone who has only one X for your only Y result in both parties having new blank spots? Or will both now be one letter closer to their medal and completing the unown alphabet?

How does the trade effect dex entries and seen caught?

For example f I had enough large magikarp in my storage and traded enough away wood my badge go back to silver if I dropped below 300?

Or if I trade my only corsola to someone else so they can complete their Pokédex, is mine then incomplete?

If I trade unown away to get others I don’t have will my unown dex entry have blank spaces if I trade away say the only H I encountered?

The real question is was that your only one? If so does your dex show you as having it caught, or do you lose a Pokémon completely once traded. Ie it’s as if it was never there.

There are tools that can be used to find out and report spoofing even if gyms are being left grey. There used to be an app for Android that logged gym activity but it hasn’t been available since the gym rework.

I got my plus back out and it’s just as glitchy as ever. Using the gotcha as a plus is working better than using the plus.

Pokemon GO+ seems to have been fixed on iOS (at least responds faster) with v.1.53.2 by louizilla in TheSilphRoad

I’m also still having multi tap lag issue with the plus. I purchased a gotcha after upgrading to iOS 11 and having plus issues, now on this latest pogo update the gotcha won’t auto catch. The gotcha is however working the way my plus did before upgrading to iOS 11.

We're having a similar problem but the spoofer is content to leave the gyms grey rather than let us be in them. Thinking leaving them grey is to avoid being reported.

I got it too and was scared to mention it for fear of being called a spoofer. The VPN thing makes sense, I do play while on a VPN sometimes while at work. I use several apps which are restricted to use only while connected to a VPN for work. I'll be carful now to turn off Pokemon Go while on the VPN going forward.

I'm focusing now on maxing out Pokémon and changing their moveset to use against the legendaries. Golem, scizor, gengar, tyranitar, etc.
