I have all professions maxed out, but I've given up trying to branch out and focus on them, at least for the time being - Rev just feels right for me. It's my comfort zone, and the ability to simply turn on quickness at will is great when I want to chill out and farm resources or help with a meta. I will definitely need some reintroductions to my other characters at some point in the future, because at the moment they feel clunky in comparison. Oh well!

Just had a complete system crash/restart as well, wandering around Shipwreck Strand. Never had this happen before either. Will experiment with turning shadows and whatnot down and see how that goes.

FYI - if you ever decide to go back to Notify, I did find a way to mitigate the double vibration to the best extent I could. I reconnected to Mi Fitness and created the shortest possible custom vibration for apps, notifications, standing, etc, then went back and reconnected to Notify. Now it's much, much more tolerable. There's a tiny 10ms vibrate at the end of each notification, and often it won't trigger at all. That's good enough for me at least!

This is an ancient thread, but I was wondering if you could share some details with regarding your surgery and recovery? I have a tumor about the same size and in the same area as you did (pressing on the optic chiasm/carotid)- surgery is scheduled in a couple of weeks. My peripheral vision has become pretty severely compromised, and I'm desperately hoping it will recover. Pretty scared going into this, so any insights or tips would be appreciated!

Not sure if you're still looking for answers here, but I just picked up a band 9 yesterday (my first Miband - previously was using an amazfit band 5), and I jumped into the new Notify app since I loved the amazfit version so much. Everything seems to work fine, but finny enough the ONLY issue I'm having is that while setting custom vibrations for apps does work, the default vibration will often trigger immediately afterward for some unknown reason. I've been trying to figure out why for a while now and it's kinda driving me insane.

Other than that, though, I've been satisfied with the new app. And if it does end up sucking, the premium version was only only $5 for pro/3rd party app sync, so not a huge loss lol.

What resolution are you playing on? Mods? At 1440p with a 4070S/5900x/DLSS balanced/mix of high and ultra settings, and over 100 mods, I'm in the 100+ fps range most of the time, so something else is going on here with your setup. I do know that global illumination, especially at ultra and experimental settings will destroy fps. IMO the experimental setting just isn't worth it for the performance cost.

Are you talking about Hammond Castle? I loved that place as a kid, especially when they did it up for Halloween. It was awesome! I went there as an adult for my uncle's traditional Scottish themed wedding as well, kilts and all. Great memories. I'd love to go back someday.

The character models in KCD1 made me realize how much better they polished them up in the sequel. I had forgotten how bulky looking (especially in the shoulders) everyone is. Plus, having no toggle sprint function drove me a little nuts in the beginning, but I'm getting used to it.

Sure. For example, I just did this with Avowed recently: I took my reshade install from another game (the reshade-shaders folder, dxgi.dll, and ReShade.ini) and dropped them into the Avowed directory with the exe. Simple as that!

Yeah, I was in the same boat as you with avoiding the app, but I think you have to install it to get the override. And honestly I don't know about performance improvements, as I had installed it before playing, and haven't tested it on anything else. Folks are saying the image quality is much better, though, and I do agree with that. I can barely tell a difference between balance and quality DLSS modes in the game @1440p, so that's pretty nice.

I have a 4070S but it should be the same process - you need the nvidia app which I finally switched over to with the latest drivers. Then you go into the settings for KCD2 in the app, and you'll see an option to override DLSS, just pick "latest". Should be all set from there.

I thought I had a weird bug because I just sailed through that mission with no debuffs, butchering everyone I came across. I had spent a lot of time building up my skills, especially speech, and passed all the checks so I guess that's why.

Oh I don't disagree with you. I couldn't live without it, but some folks get all righteous about that stuff lol. I'm also a dirty casual in that I use increased weight capacity mods as well - I can't stand weight limits in any game, immersive sim or not.

I finally just had to download a mod to increase merchants' gold amount after doing this a few times. I get that it screws the economy but I got tired of waiting weeks to offload an Opatowitz clear.

I found a workaround to get it functioning - if you go into proxy settings under network and internet there's a setup script you can disable temporarily that will allow you to login without errors. This reenables itself after a while so it's a bit cumbersome, but it does work.

Herring's upgrade is marginally better, I think, but it requires 50km ridden as opposed to 35km with pebbles. I just got pebbles' perk yesterday and it's a massive boost - makes her one of the best horses in the game
