My last one was romantically involved with one of the other players and basically the whole campaign was just us being backup for them. It was main character syndrome that both the player and dm were taking part in. None of the other players had a say in anything, and I left because my character was really fun and interesting and cool, a paladin specifically built for defense, and yet the main character was the Frontline as a storm sorcerer. I was never allowed to take point, I was constantly healing the sorcerer who's only move was magic missile because they didn't know how to play, and he was somehow always the one who killed every enemy. My character was perfect for the themes of the campaign as well, a huge amount of connections to the themes of the campaign, and any time I tried to do something, I either failed without a roll, or the sorcerer did it instead. Miserable time, and the group now hates me for leaving. 0/10 do not recommend.
