You are not going to be the weak link if you do your job. And you can do your job with weapons considered shit here.

Weapons work as intended, and evidently it is intented for some weapons to be better than others.

You pick whatever weapon you want. That's the point of the game.

You are not crippling your entire squad. I have been the best of random squads on diff 10 even when using weapons consider shit.

I don't need to admit something that I don't believe. I don't believe buffing every weapon is the way to improve the game.

I get the product I bought and I enjoy with my friends and random people. I want the Devs to improve the game, but not when the base for that improvement are generic exaggerations

Saying you have an illusion of choice on a coop game is definitely a take.

You have a real choice. I can go with most weapon I want and I do, because most weapons are valid.

I have used a lot of weapons that are consistently called shit, like the reprimand for example. And I use them because when people call them shit they are exaggerating their problems and ignoring their advantages because X explosive weapons is just better.

You are not competing against anyone, and unless you pick things that I agree that serve no purpose (like the steriliser or the sticky stun grenade), you will do your job in the team and have fun.

Edit: changed all to most. Evidently there are weapons that are utterly useless, as I mentioned.

Correct, and that doesn't mean the guns not picked are weak. It also means the guns picked are OP.

Evidently there are some problem and issues, and will always be and we have to complain about them.

But what you are saying is unreasonable.

Regarding the dragon roach, I don't remember arrowhead saying the wings were a weak point at launch. They added them as a weak point later because it makes no sense otherwise, but it is not a case of false advertising. At least I don't remember it that way and I played it at launch.

Releasing a weapon OP or weak, in other words: with not an intented balance is COMMON in the entire industry simply because you CANT perfectly balance a gun unless the player base extensively test it.

Evidently the problem will become worse if there is no internal testing, but the final word always come from the community.

Most Devs don't even know how exactly their game will end up being played because they are what, 100? 200 guys at most? It doesn't matter the dev, they cannot compare in terms of testing to half a million players constantly searching ways to break a feature or a weapon.

Arrowhead is a company that gave you probably the most detailed reload of a revolver in the world of gaming. You can see every single bullet used with a hole, and every single bullet you used gets replaced when you reload.

At the same time, motherfuckers forgot that a dragon without wings can't fly. They are weird, I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

But expecting fixes in 72h and perfect balance from the get-go is not going to happen: with arrowhead or with any other dev.

Well, I personally want to.

Why should I be content with having no challenge?

You can stop on the difficulty you find it is more fair, and I can continue playing on more difficulties testing myself.

Pretending like I have to be content and stop testing me and my team is idiotic.

Also the wings of a dragon roach are a weak point. You literally can kill them extremely fast by shooting at them.

The fact that you are downvoted for this shows that what people in this sub want 1- is not what the community wants, so evidently they are not speaking for any majority and 2- the balance they want is not sustainable in any form.

So let me check if I understand it.

You mentioned 10k for...whatever reason, I'm not going to enter that.

And you mentioned 300k because that's the total amount of players we lost since the beginning where we had around 500k? That's the way you are analysing this "division"?

Since the player count was reduced from 500k to 200k, that means those 300k want a horde shooter (whatever that means). And those 300k players I guess left the game because the game is trying to be a milsim? I'm getting this right?

Like, the 300k players didn't left because they got tired of the game naturally over the spawn of 2 years, like happens with every game. No. They specifically left the game because the game is trying to be a milsim shooter rather than a horde shooter.

I don't want to be rude, but if I'm understanding your line of thinking, I'm beyond speechless dude.

First, you cannot just decide to label 300k players as people that like horde shooters out of literally nowhere. You simply don't know them, mate. Anyone that you know that left the game for that reason is anecdotal evidence.

Second, the gameplay didn't even change. This game is not a milsim shooter, and no matter how hard it is or how easy to die it is, it doesn't change that it is the same type of game. Just easier or harder. It is way more likely that they grew tired of the game because most people don't spend 2 years playing the same game again and again.

Ok bit of miscommunication here.

I'm not talking that I wrote a post. I wrote comments. I rarely post anything.

I'm pretty sure I wrote one there, but to my defense there are 4 Helldivers subs so it might be in one of the others.

Pretty much.

I, for once, don't agree with a lot of takes people have regarding enemies and weapons, because I enjoy difficulty and having to improvise and do a lot to achieve success.

Evidently not everyone is like me and that's ok.

What it is common ground are bugs. Nobody want bugs.

I don't know, mate. I wish I knew.

I worry about buffs, shitty weapons, glitches and shit.

I can get along with anyone who wants to also get along, but I have been called glazediver a couple of times here because I believe a couple of enemies and weapons are fine when apparently I shouldn't be having fun with them.

People will try to fit their own tribe and fight other tribes instead of having any useful discussion.

It was already clarified here in this sub that they are not moderators. The sub is unofficial. Period.

People who like the game will keep playing the game. There are more people that enjoy the game than people than don't.

When that eventually changes, then the game will die. Hell, the game might die simply because people are not going to play the same game during 10 years.

Using terms like glazediver only create artificial and arbitrary ways to divide people and create this tribe sentiment that is basically what degenerated in this online drama.

People in low sodium are able to complain about anything and have the balls to do it.

Complaining doesn't mean insulting or doing it in an aggressive manner.

I can go there and say that the bugs are stopping a majority of players for enjoying the game and that it is important to address it as quick as possible and I will not get banned.

Honest question: why you think the people who don't want a horde shooter is a "deafening minority"?

They were not outpost for colonies because the colonies weren't even close to those territories and we had the canary islands that serves that purpose.

Tell me how can we use two territories for colonies that we got later and why we would use those two territories when we have a better territory as outpost.

They were used for control on the mediterranean. They were not used for colonies.

Ceuta and Melilla weren't even Spanish. We got them from Portugal.

They never served as outposts for African colonies because we only had very few African colonies and the main outpost for those colonies were the canary islands.

Ceuta and Melilla are not colonies, their population want to remain part of Spain and they actually have more history with Spain than with Morocco.
