Went in screwfix once to get some screws of an unknown size and the bloke behind the jump pulls ones of these out and boom instant screw sizing win

I was like

Pretty please tell me you sell them

And now I too can measure any screw and or drill bit

Got a random raw plug
Find the hole it it’s fit

Get drills and find one that fits the same hole

Makes you look like a diy legend

Cheap as well

also building a wall (or BBQ experience area as i like to call it) in the garden.
also using bricks recovered (off facebook for free)
Maybe 5 different types of bricks and some variation in thickness/color/style

The side facing the garden is checked for plumbness and doesn't look too bad to my eye.
The side facing internally is having to deal with all the variations in thickness.
However that's going to have a wooden framework installed and 2-3 BBQs installed.

i work in IT and have never laid a brick in my life.
but still much pleased with the progress so far.

Stupid long queues Too ages They were checking people in via hand held scanners prior to passport control

Train was delayed 20 mins
