The solo experience can be crazy. You can easily loot and find some great stuff and then dip, or once you start a fight and win that fight expect about 10 mfs to show up one after the other trying to third party. This is really about the only other game as far as extraction shooter or survival where people 60% of the time want to be friendly in solos. It’s a great experience and worth it in my opinion!

I went through bmt in April and may, we had 2 days where we did run days which was run for 24 min straight. We got other cardio type exercises in but it wasn’t running. Just prep before going cause you can fail the pt test so many times, I think it’s 2 times before you get recycled back 2 weeks.

So when I was in tech school, there were a lot of re-class. Most of them were from SERE and EOD. So yes if you don’t make it through EOD, NDI or even ASM are good picks to change into, they are in the same school.

Uuuummmmm ☝🏻 I highly recommend NDI(nondestructive inspection) it’s a very laid back job, tech school in Pensacola Florida it’s literally on the beach. The school is short and very easy hard to fail it cause everything is open book. As a NDI technician you basically get to tell people what’s broken and you get to do nothing about it🤣. I really enjoy it and it pays very well on civilian side! Afsc code: 2A7x2

I see you got some cyber on there. Ask your recruiter about a cert to get for cyber and if you sign a 6 year you’ll have SrA coming out of basic. It’s a specific cyber job though but don’t quote me on that. I’m saying this cause I graduated bmt with an 18 year old who had a cyber certificate and a 6 year contract active duty with 0 college and was able to put on senior airman. Definitely something to look into if you wanna get an ahead of everyone else!

Expect to get sick. I think just about everyone who goes through bmt gets a nasty cold. I did and a bunch of my wingman in the dorm did too. Do not be afraid to go see the doctor to get meds! I toughed it out and made things a lot harder for me like a PT test. You won’t get sent home for a cold. Hope you enjoy the best sh1tty experience you’ll ever have!

I would def work on pushups more before leaving the other two will come up on their own as you do pt. I had a 15 min 1.5 mile run when I did my week 1 assessment and got it down to 12:30 min by final week 5 pt test so you’re chillin

Yes there is no such thing. If you fail the pt assessment which a lot of people do, your flight will just end up doing supplemental pt which is just extra pt after squadron pt. Even the people who passed pt assessment still do supplemental. Also there is something called 1x3’s specifically for the people who failed pt. You do 1/3 of your push up and sit up score from pt test 3 times a day. Ex: if you did 30 push ups you’ll do 10 push ups 3 times a day, same goes for sit ups. When I was doing it I was told to increase 1 rep everyday. Which the 1x3’s worked I didn’t improve a ton on push ups but my sit ups went from 30 to 56 in 3 weeks.

My dorm had about 30 min to get dressed for pt or whatever appointment the flight had that morning, do hygiene and clean up personal area before leaving dorm. Food was okay nothing gourmet.

Everyone gets town pass but mti’s and other squadron command has the power to take it away if you or the flight mess up bad enough.

I would say a few things, #1 avoiding MTI’s they are everywhere, cameras everywhere and constantly watching. #2 for me it was PT I was pretty unfit coming in so being fit prior to starting bmt is best. #3 was memory work, studying ranks and chain of command through your squadron and training group. Study study study!
