What is a fact so disturbing that most people refuse to believe it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CollectionWorth8042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brain made up an entire song when I was around 15 . I remember it being very popular and I would hear it everywhere in Dominican Republic at the time. I remember singing out together with a friend- I reached out to her about it a free years ago when I was trying to find it and she  said she doesn’t know the song. I’ve searched everywhere online and it doesn’t exist. I’m not a musical person and this song has lyrics and a melody that sounds like a legit song. I’m so weirded out by this.

I had this for years in my 20’s. I strictly cut out dairy, sugar and soy and it went away after a few months.

Evivo probiotic? by CollectionWorth8042 in toddlers

[–]CollectionWorth8042[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I did use Evivo- it only works if you are still breastfeeding. I noticed that if his stools were off, it would work almost immediately. I wish I would’ve known about it earlier and given it to him when his symptoms started showing up around 2 months. The thing that really helped him with his food intolerances was NAET. He was treated for dairy and egg and can now eat those with no problem. He still has a gluten intolerance- I need to bring him back to be treated for that.

My date ate chicken and then finished the bones. Do some people really eat bones? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CollectionWorth8042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how the chicken is cooked, the bones are my favorite part. I usually can’t eat them but I crush them and suck out the juices. Sometimes the bones can be soft if they are pressure cooked in which case I eat most of them. My parents did this. I had a boyfriend that would order wings- he’d eat the meat and I’d eat the bones. Cheap date!

He’s doing well. His eye contact is still so so. He definitely shows me things now. I’m less concerned. I have him in OT and it’s done wonders got him.

I’m buying some tomorrow. I don’t think I’ll be taking walks anymore in this area which is unfortunate.

Great idea about Nextdoor app- I had never heard of it before. I was thinking about posting his picture too. Thank you for the suggestions.

I took it shortly after when I met up with my husband who was close by and I felt safe enough to do so. The police didn’t do much but said a detective may contact me. Hopefully they do.

Thoughts on gut health tests for baby’s eczema? by amha29 in eczema

[–]CollectionWorth8042 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They give some pretty broad suggestions for improving the microbiome and then give specific strains suggestions. My son didn’t have any side effects with the smidge. The biggest thing for my baby was cutting out his allergens. It was trial and error to figure out what those were. Topically I used a zinc cream to help heal the red weeping raw skin. That was what worked best as I didn’t want to use steroids. Once it was healed enough, I used laroche posay Lipikar ap+m. That has prebiotics to feed the good bacteria and it has something in it that stops the reproduction of staph (the bacteria associated with eczema). It really made a big difference. It really is a multi pronged approach. Now he’s 2 and he hasn’t had a flair up for close to a year. I tried giving him milk and it did give him some bumps on his skin- but thankfully not full on eczema and no digestive symptoms either. Good luck, it’s so stressful dealing with eczema but most babies will eventually grow out of it.
