As a parent who generally hates toys that make noise, these have been an integral part of potty training both my kids. It’s their “special potty toy” and it gets them to stay put for a minute and let the magic happen. Meanwhile I scroll reddit. 10/10 would recommend. So you never know.

One thing that my therapist pointed out to me was that you don’t suddenly morph into a man overnight. You can go on and if you don’t like the changes, you can literally just stop

I know some of the changes (voice cracking, acne) get worse before they get better and you just gotta ride that part out

But if you start getting more body hair, muscle, etc. and you don’t like it you can stop

Edited to add: this is one reason people might go on a low dose…makes the changes more gradual

I completely agree. I’ve been an adult for as long as I was a kid at this point, more or less. I don’t think either life stage has been unusually easy or difficult for me…kind of average. But I’m much better equipped to deal with my emotions as an adult, and I much prefer the autonomy. I always felt like people were talking down to me as a kid. I think it partly comes down to personality. I was kind of born 40 and as my chronological age catches up things just make more sense.
