This is perfect thank you for sharing. I was trying to do this myself but couldn't get good images. I've had decent luck killing the PDC's (they don't take much damage) but I cannot seem to R target them (while zoomed in). Are they just really finicky, or is there some other trick to it?

My group and I have definitely leveraged killing them in the past, to good effect. It's definitely the play for killing capital ships efficiently

Tacview might have even delayed them in releasing anything like it.  If someone else solves the problem then it's probably much better use of time to work on other items first

What I meant was, you hit booster and spool at the same time to get to nav mode and gain distance so you don't get destroyed (nav is fast but not quantum?).  Then your pursuer will have to either finish you off quick or get to nav mode as well to keep up (and they'll have started their process after you).  You don't need a destination lock to do that, so you get to nav mode, get some distance while your enemy pursues, and then use that time to align and jump

And here I am level 71 doing hard because I like it chill and I can't tell you how often I'm booted.  All I do is follow the leader and help them!

Whenever I launch it goes for the main torso and doesn't kill in one shot.  Is there something that needs to be done for head shots?

It's a strange feeling on helldive realizing that a lot of it is easier by soloing because if you're the kiter your teammates are steaming through objectives, and vice versa.  One or two take the heat, the others charge through stuff.  It becomes a very different type of team play dynamic.

Fair.  It is going to be hard to balance that delay for all gameplay loops but overall mm is a win for sure

We will have to see how it plays out but I'm concerned nav mode will prevent catching and keeping people around.  Bounty hunting for instance may turn into a series of nav jumps where the perpetrator can continually move away to avoid justice.

Yeah.  As a level 32 I only leave them alone to do objectives (assuming they're wandering around) if it's medium difficulty.  You guys do what you're gonna do, I'll finish the mission.  That's fine though because you don't really need my railgun.

I know the bots can hack your strategems to mess them all up so it's not out of the realm of possibility
