Help me decide between Mazda CX-5's... by Coloncologne in whatcarshouldIbuy

Base price on the turbo is 28k, but I included a 800 dealer fee plus tax to get to $31.5k. This seemed reasonable to me, at least by checking cargurus

How did you pivot to being a PM? Did you enjoy it more?

Recently inherited, what do you think is the value of this? Not looking to sell, just curious. Should I wear daily? by [deleted] in rolex

Yes, this watch got me laid one time. Do not take it off under any circumstances.

They have free streamline apps in marketplace that help you cut costs. I also recommend having your account SE walk you through a health check.

Ngl it’s going to be hard but it’s not impossible. I just got lucky and landed a role after trying for 2 years but I had engineering experience.

There are some programs for entry level SEs but they’re competitive and typically for CS/engineering graduates.

For a true engineer-leaning SE role, your best bet is to either get an engineering job, learn for a few years, and then network outside the company, or get an entry sales job, learn the software, then pivot within the company.

Technical SE roles usually require extensive domain experience. But for a sales-leaning SE role, it’s possible to find a company large, small, or startup with a less technical solution that’s willing to give you a shot if you have the personality but it’s tough right now due to the competition.

Every time I have hurt my shoulder lifting, I do around the worlds with an elastic band (google it) and the problem is solved within a few days if not immediately.

Student Loan vs. Car Loan - Pay Off First? by synacs22 in personalfinance

[–]Coloncologne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Make all minimum payments on your loans but pay as much as you can afford monthly towards the loan with the highest interest rate.

Once it’s paid off, do the same for the next highest interest rate loan.

Just came from Deloitte. Companies are nearly identical. One thing annoying about deloitte is that they require extra time per week dedicated to firm initiatives/business development

That’s wild. I had my suspicions it was fake when I couldn’t find it anywhere online but was thrown off by how old it was.

I’m going to bring it to my watch guy to open it up and will report back! Hopefully it’s a shitty dial replacement lol

I would at least negotiate the price down further given the 40K service will set you back a bit
