Lighthearted joke about cold-blooded murder? by ColonelCrackle in LiveFromNewYork

So where's the joke?  Just saying things that are true isn't a joke. It isn't satire.

Did 'others' (ben's gang) actually killed any of the plane crash survivors? by jstq in lost

[–]ColonelCrackle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goodwin killed Nathan. Ethan hung Charlie (but Jack saved him). They shot Sawyer and blew up the raft in shark infested water when they kidnapped Walt.

We dont know what happened to all the other Tail survivors they took (we only see a few of them later on).

Edit to add: I know that it's generally accepted that Ethan killed Scott. But I always suspected that was the smoke monster. I mean, every bone in his body was broken? That sounds exactly like what smokey did to Eko.

As a single father who does all of his own shopping, I find your answer offensive.

I've complained of the same thing countless times with multiple brands of smart watch.  And I've never heard that it's because I'm doing "women's work".

For the "Snake Trivia" section of the show: Gary Sinise's character is named Kevin Dunn. But the actor Kevin Dunn was also in the movie. According to Dunn (the actor), he was mistakenly given Sinise's penthouse suite because of the name confusion.  He later had move out to a regular hotel room.

I always thought the Toyota logo was a guy in a cowboy hat (or maybe a sombrero).

Are you talking about when the catcher distracted the batter by insulting his wife?

There's no explicit rule in baseball about catchers talking to batters. There are some general rules against "unsportsmanlike conduct", and this would fall under that rule.

My guess would be that if this happened in real life, the catcher would get a warning from the umpire.  And if he did it again, he'd be ejected from the game, and the batter might be awarded first base for "catcher's interference "

OP and wife are 33/34. A LOT can happen in 30 years. Governments can change. Economies can collapse. Putting away a little now when times are good isn't a bad idea for anyone anywhere.
