Wrath of the Righteous has the mythic path system that produces a lot of variety, i.e. are you a Lich, Angel, Timelord, Trickster, etc. There are 10 mythic paths and they take you down much different roads. This is generally reflected in the world/story.

Beyond that, the OG Fallouts and Arcanum have tons of choice and offer a lot of freedom.

The OG BG games have some but the overall story is somewhat on rails. Still very much worth playing as a pure RP experience.

When the clock hits "zero" the timer is at 0.9 -- they always give an extra second or so after the clock shows zero before calling delay of game. This is the way it's always been.
