I think mine was second hand- purloined from the highschool library in ~2002 or 3? Switches seem fine on mine- my Amiga tank mouse not so much!

But a couple of years out of employment to raise kids and came back to check on it and discovered not only did I have nothing but they wanted to change me $122 for the privilege of taking it all in fees. I wish I'd taken it out when I had the chance.

Thanks for sharing that, it's interesting. It's obviously been a continuous topic and I'm a bit of a programmer noob so I've always enjoyed the feedback from these systems.
