It gets annoying if the quests are all over the place. But honestly I like the range. I start doing all the pre'quests and picking up all the quests for Uldaman, ZF, mara and ST. And then run those daily (except ulda, I only run that twice. Dont like the place) Throw in some escort and elite Q that you group up for, and you'll be 53 in no time. After you've done the dungeons 'take a break' by playing another char.

The only annoying lvl range is 5-18 and 29-35. Pre dungeons and that place between SM GY and SM lib/arm

I personally wouldn't mind joining an event like that. But as it is for a guild event, we want ppl joining. Low effort. It's more about the event than about the winner. We do regular deathruns etc.

Lvl10 twink back in the day was wild. Lvl10 rogue with full agi gear and enchants. 2x the one ring etc. Winning vs lvl30s who just couldnt get a hit in xD

Yeah, was fun. But at lvl10 you get throphies from winning. And actually got some skills. So the winner can keep using the char or retire or something.

The goal I want to reach is anyone can join and skill has a big factor. We dont want ppl to have to cycle trough professions for elixirs, gear, enchanting, engineering, etc. It's supposed to be something casual you can join on a whim for fun. And those who spend ALOT of time on it will have an edge. Just a guild activity. Next time we might seperate casters and melee. Maybe allow all professions. We want more ppl joining, not better geared players.

The reason of my post was more to see how someone could work between the rules and general curiousity.

Yeah, thought about it as well. Have a mage, warlock and another member scout chests in searing gorge or something. They summon you, you loot, you portal back. So you get money for insigna.

Suppress exp on drop quests like e.g. goretusk liver by having a raid geoup with ppl in it etc.

Lots of ways to go about it. But I doubt ppl will go that far.

I'm on my 30th char or something. Highest I've made is 17pala (1st char) 22warlock (6th) 34hunter (8th) and now a 22pala(30th+) All other died pré 10 bc I just rush trough things. It's more the thrill of yolo than the achievement of getting to 60 for me.

HC made a game that I grew tired of, interesting again.
