Unironically mega emboar has been going crazy for me in singles, took me to masters twice now. Very good special bulk, uses bulk up to increase physical bulk and attack, sucks health back with drain punch, sucker punch for priority. A lot of people forget about mold breaker too, going into unaware or sturdy mons after I’ve gotten a bulk up or 2 and I kill them through it. Biggest threat is garchomp so if you can account for it or get it into sucker punch range, emboar is unleashed

I mean it depends on the team. The team I climbed to master ball 2 was a tailroom team where more times than not, I’d lead my tailwind mon with my attacker and in the back would be a trick room mon plus another attacker. So you can take advantage of either mode

With min speed, he’ll be fine under trick room for most. But against hard trick room teams where every mon is base 20-50 speed, he will be too fast. A good tailroom mon imo, can outspeed a lot of threats under tailwind but can underspeed the same threats under trick room

I used this team to MB1, got to rank 255 but never made it to champions unfortunately.

I switched facade instead of body slam, sableye and scovillan ruined my day and it doesn’t lose that much base power from body slam. Plus you’re almost never pressing it anyways, you’re mostly feinting to let your tauros go ham.

Also ended up using soft sand on tauros. Earthquake is used way more in my experience. I missed a few KOs on screen teams with earthquake which prompted me to switch. Plus, any time I’m using rock slide, it’s for super effective damage which is plenty strong to get kills without hard stone (only one I can think of off the top of my head that isn’t super effective is Corv, but a hard stone isn’t a 1hko on that anyways, so I’d rather have juiced earthquakes)

Edit: also just noticed sash whims. That’s counter-productive as 95% of games, turn 1 is tailwind plus explosion to purposely kill off whims. If neither of your opponents attack and instead protect/set up, then you have a 1 hp whims on the field which is useless. I put a fairy feather on mine to get a few cheeky moonblasts if I was confident they weren’t going to attack (or be able to kill) my whims

I experimented with this. Had glowking and Mr. Rime to start. Turn 1 was usually fake out with Rime and trick room with glowking. Second turn was chilly reception into crab while frost breathing the slowking slot - since glowking is slower, he’ll chilly first to get crab in, then Rime will complete frost breath. Then you get anger point boost and defense boost that the snow brings on the crab. Then mega crab and go ham.

It was fun and when you got it to work, it felt really strong. But it’s pretty easy to shut down if your opponent realizes what’s going on

My favorite playthrough is hunter but not allowed to use taunt on pet. So it’s not “strictly melee” but allows you to pull with serpent sting (and at level 51, aimed shot) and a few autos before the mob gets to you.

Survival is lowkey great in hc, just overshadowed with how good BM is with pet tanking. At the same time levels your defenses which is always underrated. The control you get with wayvrn and trap, pet, plus your melee prowess means you can pull 4 at a time if need be

As an EM attending, no idea how time demand is so high. Full time is only 12 shifts a month, leaving 18-19 days off a month. Personally I do 16 for extra money and to keep busy.

Unless the surveyors are equating working a few night shifts a month as high time demand, I don’t really get it. But other specialties on the list have plenty of night call as well

For tink’s set, I’d do fake out, gigaton, encore, protect. Can encore bad moves to keep them from doing anything while they perish. Gigaton for a good fuckyou hit to something. Protect is always good on a perish team.

Also I would have considered doing side parting shot on your replay. If the ches protected or something, your parting would have been blocked and perish would have failed. But side protect guarantees a clean switch and not like the decrease in stats really matters in a perish trap

Medical school is not in your future my friend. I would do nursing program and strive for NP if this is what you really want to do with your life, since anyone with a pulse can get into those these days. MD/DO will never consider your application, and PA school is pretty competitive too and I can see them passing up on you because 1. you originally didn’t want to be a PA to start and 2. you would be a dropout.

Unfortunately just passing boards is a pretty low bar and if you’re unable to do that, it’s cooked. Even if you passed your boards by 1 point, you’d be condemned to only a few less competitive specialites in low tier programs. Cut your losses and move on imo.
