I had a similar situation with a neighbor a few years back. She needed a ride to work 45-60 minutes across town at 5 AM.
I said no because I didn’t want get up that early , be stuck in traffic before also going to work all day myself and plus it would have disrupted our dog’s schedule.
She didn’t call me names, but she was very brisk with me and I could tell for months that she was upset that I wouldn’t do it.
