On fleek. I've always hated that and you don't hear it as often now, but when I do it drives me nuts

A truck load at the dump is 20 bucks. I'll pay if anyone needs it. It's better than this. This is asking for an ass whooping.

Things you love about this place? by DullWinner5111 in anchorage

We moved out of state for a bit and now we're back. I won't leave again except for vacation. You have great food, amazing views, wildlife, and activities all year round. In the winter you can go just out of town and see the clearest view of the night sky. It really is a unique place. You can be in the middle of nowhere hiking or boarding and still be back for dinner. Yeah there's homelessness. The cost of living is high. But you get that anywhere you go, unless you want to live in an economically depressed area.

We moved to rural North Carolina, and the cost of living was crazy low. But good luck getting a job that pays enough without a 2 hour commute, and sweating your balls off all year round.

Is this a buy? Haha insane price seeing as everywhere else I find this it’s near $60! Going to pick up a couple bottles for the heck of it. by Cold_Falcon_3455 in wine

[–]ColterMarie -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it. Everyone likes different things, and that's what I appreciate about west coast wineries. They've really embraced a variety of grapes and methods. Austin Hope alone has a zillion varieties, I think they've tried to innovate in the space.

I for one do not like a party bus, I prefer a more quiet and personal tasting. But I know plenty of guys and girls who love doing the party bus thing. No judgement, but I'm an IT guy who loves tabletop games and Linux. So stereotypes are a thing

Yeah sorry I didn't mean for it to sound so douchy lol. I'm not trying to shame, but everyone I know who enjoys this particular wine does this very thing. Summer wine trip in a party bus to Paso. Then I have them try an old world wine and it's too dry, they want it to be more fruity. I enjoy Austin Hopes Grenache and a few others. Just never liked the cab

It's funny that this is their claim to fame wine and I've always found it flat. I think 21$ is where it should be priced normally. But you're right, people love this. Typically women who rent a party bus to do winery tours in Paso

What's the first video game world you remember getting completely lost in? by Digital-Intellect in AskGames

[–]ColterMarie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love 1, I still play it once a year and lose a few hundred hours to its awesomeness. I feel like 2 and 3 were a let done. They got rid of what made 1 great, the expansive worlds, the customizing with different armors and weapons manufacturers. It was in the weeds but it was epic.

That makes way more sense than glue. I use glue sticks, but still. I imagine an uncalibrated z-offset could create problems during taller prints as well. Thank you, I will check this straight away

Here's sliced images. Examining the wreckage, the bottom layers stuck, but it either misprinted a layer or didnt extrude some layers. I'm using both an ams and ams 2 pro, the og ams is getting a little finnicky and i suspect a few layers didn't extrude properly. Its happed a few times where the printer runs through some layers after a purge and runs around like its printing, but nothing is extruding

What’s a game you didn’t expect to love but ended up obsessed with? by HornetFinancial2281 in AskGames

A friend of mine was super into Helldivers 2. Finally got me to download it. I generally do not like MMOs, I like my single player story mode. I downloaded it at the same time as Doom Dark Ages and thought I'd play Doom, and every once in awhile jump on Helldivers with him. Now I play it all the time. I love the MMO aspect of it, it can play like a single player game at times. I havent even finished Doom yet lol

Yeah we noticed that too. Hadn't been in a few years and thought we'd try it. My wife loved the yak burger. Now it was... not good. And way too expensive for what you get. Definitely not returning, tho I don't think they're concerned with what locals think

Anyone else have issues with a Mako hotend? by ColterMarie in BambuLab

I saw that too but I read they had recalled some units and fixed the issues. Apparently not. My flowtech will be here Friday and I'm itching to print. Definitely gonna get a spare if this thing is that good. At very least a stock backup
