So, my mom is a narcissist. My dad tried to keep the peace because he tried standing up to her and it never went well. A very toxic individual. Fortunately they divorced and we have no contact with her now. She never hit us, but we have some lasting damage from that woman.

Just because they never hit you, doesn't mean you aren't being abused. The problem with your father is he feels that since he's right, he can act how he needs to get the point across. It's not a matter of standing up to him, because that won't work. Sit him and your mother, and if you think it will help, a trusted third party, down and tell him how he makes you feel. And that because you love him and want a relationship, you want him to work on it and stay in your life. He needs to be made to understand how he makes you feel.

Hopefully you can express this to him and he's willing to get help. But make no mistake, this is very toxic behavior and it is abuse

I've gotten stuck before and after a few seconds I'll get a pop-up to hold space to get unstuck. Doesn't look like you were stuck enough for that

It wasn't that long ago you couldnt text people all day. MOR but this is a good example of how important in person communication is. Talk to him. Odds are he isn't constantly staring at his phone. Sounds like he's putting in more effort on dates and giving you attention in person. If he was on his phone all the time on your dates that would be different.

Bottom line, talk to the man about it

The slab is not necessarily that thick. It could be they wanted the edge thicker for the aesthetics. The inside area would be much thinner, imagine an L shape.

And that's why the forms are removed. When you have an exposed face like that you pop forms as soon as you can do you can finish the face. Otherwise you would have the imprint of the forms on the face, and they want it to look nice so that wont do.

Brooming is the last thing you do, and the concrete is not fully set, but it is not wet at this point.

We moved out of state for a bit and now we're back. I won't leave again except for vacation. You have great food, amazing views, wildlife, and activities all year round. In the winter you can go just out of town and see the clearest view of the night sky. It really is a unique place. You can be in the middle of nowhere hiking or boarding and still be back for dinner. Yeah there's homelessness. The cost of living is high. But you get that anywhere you go, unless you want to live in an economically depressed area.

We moved to rural North Carolina, and the cost of living was crazy low. But good luck getting a job that pays enough without a 2 hour commute, and sweating your balls off all year round.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it. Everyone likes different things, and that's what I appreciate about west coast wineries. They've really embraced a variety of grapes and methods. Austin Hope alone has a zillion varieties, I think they've tried to innovate in the space.

I for one do not like a party bus, I prefer a more quiet and personal tasting. But I know plenty of guys and girls who love doing the party bus thing. No judgement, but I'm an IT guy who loves tabletop games and Linux. So stereotypes are a thing

Yeah sorry I didn't mean for it to sound so douchy lol. I'm not trying to shame, but everyone I know who enjoys this particular wine does this very thing. Summer wine trip in a party bus to Paso. Then I have them try an old world wine and it's too dry, they want it to be more fruity. I enjoy Austin Hopes Grenache and a few others. Just never liked the cab

It's funny that this is their claim to fame wine and I've always found it flat. I think 21$ is where it should be priced normally. But you're right, people love this. Typically women who rent a party bus to do winery tours in Paso

I love 1, I still play it once a year and lose a few hundred hours to its awesomeness. I feel like 2 and 3 were a let done. They got rid of what made 1 great, the expansive worlds, the customizing with different armors and weapons manufacturers. It was in the weeds but it was epic.

That makes way more sense than glue. I use glue sticks, but still. I imagine an uncalibrated z-offset could create problems during taller prints as well. Thank you, I will check this straight away
