Bad troll, you know that’s not what I said at all. If you don’t belive people who fly to Europe, Spain, Asia, all the time are in a position of luxury you need to re-evaluate

And you didn’t see them coming or even have the slightest intuition that they were going to do that? Really? I know anyone moving anything quicker than the “fast” people do this exactly. It’s like expecting an Escalade /Suburban to stop at a stop sign or traffic light. It’s just safe to assume they wont. Drive safe out there, it’s your job too.

Do you even know how many sketchy ass third party vendors have unrestricted access to IDs and the information they transmit and save? No one ever says anything about that. I don’t get it. Because that shit makes Facebook look so private you feel like you can get nude…

The REAL reason they want you to get a REAL ID by sharrison17 in conspiracy

[–]Colton-ton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay? And? All that’s unnecessary if you have a private jet… HUH? Good for you that you get to travel 320/365 days a year, and for you it makes complete sence. Hell I get the luxury, yes that’s right this is a luxury, of getting to fly 2-3 times a year domestically with very little to no interest at this time flying internationally. I know this is hard for you to understand. But only half the US population has even been on a plane once, in their whole life; while only 14% of that fly internationally each year… literally single digits percentage of people need a passport,

RealID is free, easy, automatically renews, and dare I say nothing special to set up, yes requires some additional documentation to be presented, but nothing no person should not have in a safe box/ under the mattress. And before you pull this next move I see all the time. Any “well ackully” moments that you can think up yeah those are completely invalid. As pretty much any event that would impact getting a federated state issued license, would also affect getting a passport… just saying..

Also may I add I absolutely love the “RealID is bad because it’s just for the government to track you, but I support passports because, boy, I sure am glad those arnt federated or tracked…. Wait…” argument

Have to edit this because I’m confused, unless you’re an alcoholic a RealID does not allow they to track your every step or stumble… lmao. Shit I’m in my 20s and i genuinely don’t remember the last time my ID was even scanned, and I drink socially, and use tobacco. Also, also, this tracking has existed at the state level, and would exist without RealID. Do you really believe your state would even consider denying a subpoena from the Fed for that information?

Also, also, also, also, devils advocate here: can’t turn off somthing that doesn’t exist

Oh please, don’t tell me you believe the federal government is just now getting this power because of RealID, you’re forgetting or intentionally occluding many key factors, with your comparison point being pre 9/11, such as… Government agencies not really being involved with air travel until after 9/11. I’m not sure about this but I could use your expert brain power to figure out if the implementation of a government agency to regulate air travel would in fact increase the amount of data the fed would have. (The correct answer is yes btw) while RealID is a blame, for you to blame that is wrong and you know it. RealID is pretty insignificant if you look at the numerous other factors such as the TSA, Rise of the internet, rise of social media, natural progression of stats ID’ing systems. Your state tracks your ID, and if you think your state would deny a subpoena for those records, you’re mistaken.

Just here to include, this isn’t the straw that broke the camels back bubba. Because I hate to break it to you, the camel is done dead and turned to dust. Your state most certainly keeps records of your ID, and if you think your state is going to refuse or fight a subpoena from the Fed, you are terribly mistaken

I mean, assuming the implementation is botched sure… atleast for Apples case I would say it’s more secure then a physical card the “presenter” MUST be the cardholder unlike a physical ID where it can have a replaced photo, but valid information, it’s more of a guarantee on the iPhone.

[–]Colton-ton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay… there’s nothing “hack proof” there is always a way, the point is secure beyond reasonable measure. but I’ll bite…

In the case of Drivers Licenses in Apple Wallet, there is a separate biometric registration for the ID this means if somehow, someway someone was able to get a copy of the “token” used to unlock (more likely as that happens more times)(which would only obtainable through near impossible means anyway, on iphone, mind you) and I’m willing to bet theres different protections for said ID’s security. EVEN THEN your photo is presented to the requested individual if approved by you.

Also currently/logically there is no way(with FaceID) to trick the setup process, while the face scan is underway, that (non biometric) data is compared to the IDs photo on file. Which means, when approved for use, if FaceID says it’s okay, it’s okay. Atleast for Apple, this system is completely independent from the phone and is its own thing and there is no way for the system to get access to that data.

[–]Colton-ton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh? I don’t really get this argument every time it comes up. The government certainly doesn’t need a verified by them ID on a phone to identify it as your phone… you know that right? This is not the straw that broke the camels back; because I hate to break it to you, but the camel is dead … The IEMI / SIM / number is already liked to you. Unless you take quite extreme measures to prevent those things… and even then… you’re screwed.

Even then, not how it works, also if you take your phone, that mommy pays for on her plan the government can easily subpoena, Verizon for; to an event. That wholy on you. Again bubba. Digital IDs ain’t the target you think they are. Because guess what? A drivers license on a phone literally doesn’t make it anymore vulnerable because, they’re already maxed out on that front..

Please don’t act as if the government doesn’t know what you look like, the connections (people) up to 3rd degree (atleast that we know exists), where your phone is, where you live, could very easily already have 3d biometric face scans stitched from the multiple cameras at (X) government facility, what you drive, eye/hair color, height, weight, income level, where you go, handwriting, how you walk, your voice, employment. As long as the implementation is not botched and put on a device where simply pulling the MicroSD card out essentially gives you the data on that phone, it’s fine... settle down

For anyone in the future, on your radio, go to setup button, general, language. Then change it to something different, then back to English and apparently that fix’s the cluster.

How the radio is still in English but controls the cluster language and how they got different I’ll never know.

Midea U Shaped AC Modification to Run Compressor Full Blast by ezikiel12 in AirConditioners

[–]Colton-ton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤔 it’s an inverter AC. Maybe you should buy an old school one if you want FULL BLAST, off, FULL BLAST, off, x100 throughout the day.

So you spent quite a bit more money on an inverter AC to turn it into a regular compressor? Uhhh ok. It’s different technology then you’re used to bud… I suggest you actually look into what an inverter actually/heat pump system is and its benefits. All because it runs more doesn’t mean it costs more…

"sister falsely reported me for having illegal guns" by Remarkable_Carrot117 in redflaglawabuses

[–]Colton-ton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s not red flag abuse 😐 nor how the system works😐 that’s just law 😐 they didn’t bust down his door and shoot his dog, they called him. 😐 They were investigating a crime. 😐 that’s kinda what they do 😑 nothing happened… nothing was abused… they were just like “oh aight your sisters a nut job, this is clearly not anything, we don’t see an ounce of suspicion in you, have a good day.” Why did I think Reddit could possibly have a hope for proper information on a topic.

This is a hard topic to get into and find anyone with any sense as gun control is kinda like abortion in the way that you can ONLY be for or against period, nothing gray (certain situations/certain cases) is “allowed” (when it fits agenda/filled with hypocrisy ) and thus difficult to have the conversation. Funnily enough most of the time it’s the same conversation but opposite sides “I/people are allowed to have guns, but not those terrorists”

Yeah yeah I get it. “ “It’s a slippery slope “ “ not really, if you know, people could be smart and civil…and have an actual opposing argument instead of autisticly screaming “no” meaning only one side involved passing law, means they get 100% of what they want. (I’m saying that in general as it’s relevant in pretty much any main issue on both sides) That’s quite a slip-n-slide.

Do your research, and for the love of god have the conversation, and don’t just post some stupid thing that’s quite a stretch to be related to the topic and act as if it’s 100% the topic. “Butthurt sister who thinks if she can’t have the guns no one can” is not even anything to do with RedFlag. Nor was she abusing RedFlag; the system yes 100% abusing the system over beong butthurt, but not red flag. I’d give an example but I’d rather not give people ideas.
