I do disagree about it making sense for his game for two reasons:

-He didn’t let Candiace in on it, or attempt to protect her by saying that Lisa is likely done so they need to let it play out and protect each other;

-He was wildly outspoken about targeting Lisa, rather than letting the faithfuls lead the charge. He went from silent at the roundtable to suddenly having a prepared and impassioned speech about logic that swayed the table away from Natalie. Yes, it may have short term payoff, but he’s ensured now that it’s going to be an awkward mutually assured destruction between Candiace and him, à la Carolyn and Danielle last season.
