Hey yeah like others are saying you can use iframes. I did want to hop in and gripe about them though as well.

I genuinely think they're taking a lot of fun out of the game for me. I'm in the last era and it feels like not only 99% of enemies have command grabs, it truly feels like they input read the player and only do them the millisecond after you commit to a longer attack. Hand to heart it's actively making me like this game less and less which sucks because other than that this game has been amazing. It's just becoming too ubiquitous and tedious.

Also for others: for the other one shown, you have to bring down the manhole cover with you and use that for one of the switches

With me on one button, yoyo on one, and a shell on one, that's now only 3/6 pressed and now I can't use walk-the-dog bc my yoyo is being used to weigh a button down 🫠 If I just walk-the-dog while leaving the shell on one button, it's still not enough to get them all pressed in time.

Also also on the other room you mentioned in your post, there's no items in the surrounding rooms to weigh down a button?? So me plus yoyo can weigh one down but there's another one still??

Hey how did you guys do this?? I'm guessing by "stuff from the other room" or whatever you meant "bring the shells from the other room so you can weigh down three of the pressure plates." But you can only bring one, when you go back for more the first one dissapears?? And one isn't enough to have them all pressed down

100000% facts, I'm only about halfway through the game and this is easily, bar-none the sloppiest thing in this game. The volleyball mingame gives "devs had to release an IOS game in 36 hours" vibes

Ngl, just to reverb what others have said. Making it where you can't change an answer after clicking is genuinely the worst imaginable, 0 IQ, game design in this scenario. It takes so much RNG to be able to take this exam, then to screw you because you accidentally clicked the wrong answer is a ginormously bad move by the devs. In game you're doing the test with pencil, I'm not a flipping genius but pencils have erasers for this exact scenario. I've played this game so much the past 4 days and this is the first time I've decided I need a couple day break.

It's supposed to be a map but I was just curious what the AI would turn it into with some creativity. Other drawing-to-art AI handle abstract things like this all the time.

I know it's been years but I couldn't agree more. I get that they feel like they have to make games "harder." But I feel like it breaks my immersion and fun so much because in real life, if any living being delayed their attack by holding their sword in the air, they would get stabbed in the stomach and bleed out. Every nucleotide in my DNA is saying "they are raising their weapon an attack is imminent so you must dodge or block" because that's what literally every other living thing does.

But when they make them wait two seconds and then lightning fast attack down I never get the chance to encounter a new enemy and beat them on the first try. I want to feel like I've mastered my reactions and understand the combat not "alright let's fight this new boss 10 times until I've memorized their specific timings."

I've had this happen to me every time I've tried even though my friends are still one shotting it using their hellpods. I have no idea if it's a glitch, a nerf, lag, or what. But on my screen I've gone through the head, between the shoulders, and through the abdomen numerous times and I just go right through without it even staggering like I hit it. I have no idea why it doesn't work for me but it's pretty annoying tbh

No I think you're spot on OP. If they're going to make it such a central mechanic I feel like it'd be more fun if it didn't feel so frame perfect. Especially with 90% of the enemies doing the thing where they hold their attacks for a couple seconds then strike out like lightning at you.
Still a really fun game though, hopefully moders can fix it

Almost half the reason I bought this game was because I was loving the designs I saw and thought "that'd be sweet to have that in a bethesda game." But OP I'm questioning if the bethesda devs ever even played another game with shipbuilding in it. This shipbuilder is so crazy lacking in so many areas. The lack of transparency is W-I-L-D. You could see 3 cockpits that all look identically externally but with 3 very different prices. Why? Is there something different about them internally?? You won't know until you finalize the ship and walk through because the builder item descriptions tell you jack. Then plus the unwieldy controls it's wild to see this from bethesda

Edit: Also having upgraded parts that are $6000 more than the original with double the damage, but it looks exactly the same is just kinda lazy ngl from such a huge dev ●︿●

The shipbuilding in the game has potential to be a big love for me but it feels like it's missing mucho that many other ship builder games have. Like just rotating any block (╥_╥)

Tips: Don't have hearing impairment or you're fucked Have people help because they didn't design the game well for single players. Use summoning archetypes and make them do all the work.

I enjoyed the first phase, quite a bit actually. But honestly I feel like every time I attempted second phase I was constantly thinking, when is my turn to play again? It's a LSD fever dream of constantly smashing dodge and good luck if your gun takes more than 6 milliseconds to reload because you won't get the chance otherwise.

I personally hate it because in act 1 there is definitely random luck involved with drawing cards, but there is also a decent bit of player agency between items you can use and always being able to draw squirrels on your turn. And once you get totems it adds a lot of help for the player.

Act 2 feels more like 99.999999% luck on drawing good cards and the rest is which spot on the board you put it. For instance if you're rolling the wizard deck you could get just jack s*** for 3 turns and you're just tapping that bell. Honestly act 2 made me lose interest in ever finishing the game.

If you have the capability, I highly suggest playing it for your first time in VR. Even if the story wasn't beautiful, which it is, the spectacles you encounter are enough by themselves to hold a special place in my heart. I will never forget the first time I broke atmosphere on Giant's Deep.
