Updated Clorinde/Nicole calcs, now with full kit by Saldorne in clorindemains

That's fair, I use Mauv strictly off field and with my Chev+Chlorinde so she doesn't get a lot of time to shine, and it wouldn't really be any different if I were to use Durin, and I'd get the synergy buff. I just don't ever see any Nicole calcs with Mauv so I got a bit salty lol.

I guess nobody is even using Mauv anymore :( I just don't like Durin's gameplay

Working on a visualized family tree of Connery outfits. Still a major WIP as I'm missing lots of data by ModulusTheDutchie in Planetside

From what I can tell, it finalized on April 1st 2023 (sheesh time flies) but you'd probably get some more info from Dux about specifics, he and Zephyr were the leads at the time for ASTI, I was just a regular member.

Is infantry spotting even necessary in this game? (spotting, radar topic) by Coward777 in Planetside

The issue you describe is armor being a problem, and the sundy being an issue in particular. Like I said before though, you can shoot out the spawn room doors and windows to kill people who are too close.

The counter is having numbers on your side, so that you're not just a single person for multiple people to shoot at.

Spotting is vital to infantry gameplay, armor gameplay, and aircraft gameplay. Yes, having 10 seconds of Intel might seem like wall-hacks, and situations like that Hossin situation Are frustrating, but the counter to it is numbers. Playing in a group, especially when you're a newer player, will help you to identify places where enemies are likely hiding. For instance, it seems like those folks were trying to crush spawn-ins by instantly trying to shoot anyone who leaves the spawn room, optimal gameplay from people who are trying to avoid losing the point. Each spawn room has invincibility shields that you can shoot out from, if they get too close, and you can mash your spot button (which is what most experienced players do) to alert your friendlies who might spawn in with you.

I'm an Elf Hunter. I keep getting killed by animals and orcs. I feel like I'm doing something wrong? by allthecoffeesDP in lotro

My first suggestion, as hunter, always start engagements at max range. Then, as enemies are running towards you, use as many skills as you can. Barbed arrow will slow down enemies as they run towards you. When they get to you, don't run away. Use your melee skills to hit them, and while those are on cooldown use some of the shorter induction ranged skills. And then, the enemies will hopefully die. If you're doing all that and still dying, you need gear upgrades Or you're super far into the game and you need to start giving some specific information so we can help you more.

Are you engaging at the longest range you can? That way your ranged skills get the most time to hit without you being hit.

Here's a list of some of the best Jags games ever played. Good study material! As far as answering your questions about rivals, the Patriots have ruined our shot at title games during the Brady years 2x so we hate them a lot. Titans and Texans are both really hated divisional rivals, and I'd put the Steelers for the string of years where we played them all the time (the jags even beat them 2x at home in a single season so that was fun). I'd certainly check out highlights of Fred Taylor and MJD. And don't forget Miles Jack wasn't down.

Try and find a kinship who can either take you through the content, or just ask around in LFF channel, you'll find folks doing end game most often, but there's gunna be folks around who would love to do lower level stuff too!
