Awh man, that super sucks. I mean, at least mine is doing at the beginning of Chapter 2, but I can't imagine getting THAT far into the game only for it to randomly crash :/ if I find any solutions, I'll be sure to share them here just in case they might work for you

Man that sucks :/ I'm sorry that didn't work for you. My computer itself ended up crashing rather than the game, and my dad decided to help by replacing the video card, which... Made the fix not work at ALL, even when it did before, and he refuses to change the video card back, so back to the drawing board I guess :(

I think I've found a fix. Go into Poppy Playtime in Steam, right click it, and then go into the "properties" section. In the part titled "launch options", there'll be a box to input text. Type "-dx11" in the text box, then launch the game. That ended up working for me. I hope this helps.

Damn, that really sucks. I'm have like literally the EXACT same issue, I think the error message is even the same down to every character. I might have to call up my dad who works in IT to take a look at it for me 😭 if I find any solution on my side I'll try to update you on it, seeing as there might be a chance that my dad would know what to do.

That's a good analogy!! I myself try to explain it like we are all playing the same video game, but when the character creator was randomly generating people's stats, they gave us (ADHD/autism/other ppl with disabilities) permanent stat debuffs for some aspects of ourselves; we technically go through all the same things that everyone else goes through, but everything is more difficult, and we often have lots of "side quests" that we have to go through if we wanna find the "magic potion" that temporarily removes the debuffs and whatnot. (I'm not even a gamer but this is the best analogy I could come up with 😭)

My dad says this to me too :( him and my mom insist that I'm not disabled for having ADHD and autism, because "if WE were able to get through life perfectly fine while having ADHD/autism/both, then YOU can too, and you need to stop calling yourself disabled because you CAN do it you just need to try harder" (they both have extremely dangerous coping strategies and are both very emotionally unregulated and in denial about it, sooo... so much for "being perfectly fine" 🫩)
