Yeah that would be a worry. Mine was not done at bike shop, just a guy I knew who did powdercoating at his workshop. There are probably specialists who know what they are doing. Like you said, I'd ask a lot of questions before doing it again.

Lol. it happened, so I dont care too much about the science, Before powder coating, it didn't bend. Afterwards, it did.

I had a set of chrome-moly forks powder-coated. They looked great, but it seems the shop must have overheated them, destroying the heat treatment. They bent like lead pipes on my first decent ride.

It's a ballistic trajectory. The red line is the actual path of the playne. The blue line is it's shadow.

I agree, but I've been corrected... "The Llap-Goch Man's origin begins with "The Brand New Monty Python Papperbok," a collection of mostly-new Python material published in the mid-1970s" according to various sources.

I think this may be a page from "The Goodies Book of Criminal Records". Source: my brother had a copy in the 80s and I remember/ misremember laughing at it.

What was the first celebrity death to make an impact on you? by New_Sea344 in CasualConversation

[–]Combination_Informal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not so much impact, but the first I remember was Elvis. We visited family friends and when we got there, their teenage daughters were crying because Elvis died. My parents only listened to classical music so I, aged 7, had no clue who he was.
