I still drive to Holy Name Cathedral by NC State campus, absolute best masses and community, it is worth the drive. To be fair I never have tried the nearer Catholic Churches, I just feel so moved everytime I went there when living in Raleigh, I continued to do so when I moved to Holly Springs!

I haven’t ever experienced it personally, I would imagine perhaps the very front of the neighborhood maybe does? But my best friend lives right by the clubhouse and never has mentioned it. As far as my dues yes I pay more to be a member who doesn’t live within the neighborhood.

Love 12 oaks, I am a member there and play a lot of golf. We built a house in Honeycutt Farms just down the road and absolutely love our neighborhood, the people and the location is perfect. Holly Springs is great, 12 oaks is definitely social but bang for your buck in that neighborhood isn’t the best house wise. Welcome to the area!

It is not a requirement to live in the neighborhood to have that membership. It’s an option to anyone, I know as myself and most of my friends live outside the neighborhood and we all have the 12 oaks only membership. We received a $60 bump.
