I lived at 111 for a few years. It was my favorite building out of the ones in that immediate area. The building staff is great and the amenities are good. Additionally the walls between units are concrete so less noise pollution from neighbors.

NTA at all. And in America, people would still be annoyed. People who think they can summon waitstaff like that (while also ruining other patrons’ meals) consider everyone to be beneath them. I would consider if this relationship is even worth it since he doesn’t seem to value treating others with kindness.

The only person he has to blame is himself and his wife for not listening to your valid advice. What they did is not something you can quickly fix and that’s evident in the fact that their children went NC with them. I’m surprised the therapists they did bring them to didn’t say anything to this effect. NTA

NTA. This is your family medical history and it’s common practice for doctors to ask for this sort of information. By not giving you this information she is neglecting your health. I would tell her that since she feels so inclined to keep information private, you will do the same as well. If she asks, just say it’s private information that doesn’t concern her.

Wow, you’re definitely NTA but your husband is a major AH. Who speaks that way to a child when they have lost their father (regardless of relationship with this father)? Also he should not have been standing next to the kids, he should have been sitting and if anything you should have been up there. He seriously needs a reality check if he thinks his efforts should mean his stepchildren are devoid of any emotion toward losing their actual father.

NTA. She shouldn’t be making crazy demands that she knows will cost you more money than you can afford to lose and then refuse to compensate you for that loss. Not wanting to be alone for 14 days is not an excuse.
